Masuk. After losing yet another child, Cat Bamford discovers the unthinkable. Her Alpha husband may have been the reason all along. When she catches him with her best friend, she cries. She begs. She opens her eyes. She destroys the mate bond in front of the entire pack. But in Vancouley Hills, breaking a bond comes with a curse, Lose your wolf. Lose your name. Lose everything. Now stripped of her power and cast into nothingness, she becomes a rogue without a wolf. Cat has only one thing left: Her rage. And when she rises again… The pack that ruined her will burn

“No, no,” her body shook, she pressed her palms to her mouth, just so she wouldn’t lose it completely. She didn’t want the maids to hear their Luna crying. But she couldn’t help it. Her baby was gone. Yet again. Gone. Her sixth miscarriage in just two years of marriage. What would happen now? Will Alpha Draven finally get sick of her and get rid of her? Will he be tired of her constant miscarriages and finally find another woman to bear his heir? She didn’t want that. She couldn’t imagine a life without his love and care. Without his warm arms wrapping around her, soothing her, telling her it’s alright like he always does. The more she thought of it, the more she cried. “Pull yourself together Cat.” She took deep breaths, then summoned the courage to pull her stained dress and wash off every bit of blood on her body. Every bit of her baby. Her precious baby. By the time she left the bathroom, there was no sign that she had just had a miscarriage, a total breakdown and also passed through multiple stages of grief. If there was anything she was good at, it was hiding her feelings. “Cat, Is Draven’s soup ready? You know he’ll be back soon.” Veronica, her mother-in-law yelled from the stairs. Cat looked up at the woman dressed in golden silk dress as if she was off for some fancy gala. “Not yet, Mother. But I’m on it” Cat said, her voice low. She knew better than speaking loudly or confidently in this household. The slightest mistake would have Veronica accusing her of being disrespectful or some nonsense. “So, you’ve been lazing around all evening! Useless woman. You know he’s sick and needs his soup. What is your use in this house?” Veronica fired so loud every maid and guard could hear. Of course they would laugh. What is funnier than the wife of the Alpha being humbled like she was nothing. “I’ll make it right away, mother.” She raced to the kitchen, ignoring the severe cramping in her abdomen. She wasn’t ready to let anyone know she had lost this baby too. She was not ready for the torture. Not yet. She put the pot on fire when she remembered the antidote for the soup wasn’t in the kitchen. She was about to go get some from veronica earlier but the cramping started and she ran to the bathroom to lose her baby I peace. But now, it was late, asking Veronica for the antidote will cause an uproar. She was not in the mood for another rain of insults. But she couldn’t do the soup without the antidote. That was the main point. After wasting a few seconds to weigh her options, she went to Draven’s study to get the antidote herself. Normally, she wasn’t allowed to go in there. But it was her best shot. She went straight to his cupboards and started searching for it. She needed to hurry. And maybe she would even find something to soothe this pain she was feeling at the moment. The first, the second and the third shelf. She didn’t find it. “God, where does he keep it?” she wondered. On the fifth shelf, she finally saw it. In a rush to get it, her hand kicked another pack of medicine, knocking it to the ground. She rushed to pick it up, but her eyes fell on the label. There was a picture of a pregnant woman on it. Then a long scientific name she couldn’t pronounce. “Who is this for?” she wondered. She was the only one in the whole household trying to get pregnant. But she has never been given this pill. What was it doing in Draven’s study? Instinctively, she pulled out her phone, took a picture and sent it to her Gynecologist, Jesse, asking what the pills were for. Jesse was off duty, so the reply came in immediately. [What are you doing with that? They are Abortion pills!] Cat took two frightened steps back, almost tripping. [Are you sure?] she texted back. [Yes.] She stared at the message then at the container. “This doesn’t mean anything. Pretty sure there s an explanation” she calmed herself. She looked at the pack. It was a pack of 10. 6 containers were missing. She has had six miscarriages. Hell nah. It can’t be. No one will be that cruel. Not even Veronica. But she needed an explanation. Draven would know. He’d get to the bottom of it. But she was too restless to wait for him to return. With trembling feet, she rushed to her room, put one of the pills in her bag and snuck out of the house. She sighed in relief when she made it out without Veronica noticing. Draven was in his office, and that was exactly where she went to. she didn’t know what she was thinking, who she was blaming. But she fucking knew someone was fucking with her. And if so, she would rip that person apart. For every pain, every heart ache, every grief they put her through. As she walked into the office building, she did not greet any staff or ask about Draven. She just walked straight to the CEOs office. That is where he would be. She opened the door and was greeted by Draven’s secretary. “Welcome Luna.” The lady said, but there was a tremble in her voice. “I want to see the Alpha.” She said, trying to enter the main office. But the secretary stood in her way. “He is not in, Ma.” She said. Why were there sweat beads forming on her forehead? “He is, I spoke to him.” Cat replied, trying to keep her calm. The woman looked confused and pale. “Maybe it’s a misunderstanding. He’s not in and I cannot let anyone in.” At that moment, she was certain something was wrong. Normally, she could come in here without any questions. Even if Draven isn’t around. “Get out of my way.” Cat said, before shoving the woman aside and pushing the door open. At that moment, she wished she didn’t. She wished she didn’t force her way in. Hell, she wished she didn’t come at all. Draven was seated comfortably on his office couch, pants down. And on top of him, this lady with golden locks was stripped naked bouncing up and down. Straddling him hard and loud. That lady was none other than her friend, Alice. Their moans were so loud they didn’t even notice her presence. They were so lost in the moment they didn’t notice her walk closer and closer to them. “Draven! Alice!” That was when it finally stopped. But her heart had already stopped beating.> If there's anything Cat hates more than dirt, it's dark, cluttered places. Sadly, she was stuck in both. She leaned on the door and kept knocking and knocking and knocking, hoping they would pity her and open it. But Alpha Coal was long gone and she was all on her own.She stood to her feet, cleaning the last bits of tears. She would not let this keep happening to her. They made her cry at Vancouley Hills, and now, here, they also wanted to do the same. She tried to move around, but she could not see a thing. It felt like it was nighttime in the room. She boldly took one step, then two. By her fifth step, she was hit by the wall. Was the room that small? She put her hands on the wall that was made of old castle rocks. She kept touching and moving until her hands met something wooden.A window. She gave it a strong push.It didn't budge. Then she tried again, and again. And again. She lost count of the number of times she was hitting the window with all her might, but one thing she k
“Stop.”Coal didn’t even know when and how that word left his mouth.Slowly, he dropped the bloody knife on the table.Betty stared in confusion, while Cat, Cat had a glimmer of hope in her eyes. But all that was not his problem. His problem was that the closer he got to her, the stronger the sensation got, the same sensation that had pushed him to say, "Stop!"He reached where they were standing, and he could feel her shrinking in fear. Her lush brown hair covered most of her face. He wanted to see it, he wanted to see her. More of her. He had never felt anything like the waves surging through his veins. He leaned closer, then with one finger, grabbed the edge of her chin and lifted her head.Their eyes finally met, and for that split moment, there was no one else in the room except her.His chest squeezed hard, and there was a mix of pleasure and pain in whatever it was he was feeling. He did not know what he was feeling. He had never felt it before. But he wanted more of it.It too
Cat had no idea how long she has been walking in the dark, thick bushes. That driver really ruined things by bringing her to this side of the border. How was she supposed to survive wolfless in this thick ass forest with tall trees. She kept walking even though there was no sign of an end to the trees. She ouldn't go back, and she couldn't stop. Not until her poor knees failed and she fell to the damp ground. "ughh," She cried out, the pain in her knees was traveling up her whole body. Was it just exhaustion? Or was it side effects of the terrible things that just happened to her. Knowing she would not be able to move any further in this condition, she leaned on the nearest tree trunk. Her eye lids closed shut slowly. All she could see were the events that happened earlier. With her eyes shut, she tried to call out for her wolf. Maybe, just maybe, she would be able to contact her. She really can't be gone, right? But after several trials, she gave up, accepting her pathetic f
She opened her eyes to the worried eyes of her mother and sister. Not just them, kneeling a bit too close to her, was Draven. Her ex husband. Her ex mate. The man who hurt her, who killed her babies and cheated on her. But as he leaned closer, she could see softness in his eyes. The softness he used to have for her in the past. “Why did you do it? I told you not to do it.” His hands cupped her chin. “You should have listened to me.”She moved back a bit. She wanted to spit at him. To tell him she was sick of listening to him. To tell him he was a monster, and she hated that she loved him. That now, as he stared at her with his olive green eyes, she could only wish they could fix it and be together. She wished he wasn’t so terrible. “Cat,” Blair squeezed her hands. There was nothing but pain but in her eyes. “What are they going to do to you?” she cried. “I’ll be fine, Blair.” She said. “That’s enough!” Veronica waked down the stage to where they were. Flared nostrils and all.
