I feel so fucking lucky today. And, I was surprised when she snaked her arms around my neck and pulled me closer to her. "I know that you badly want to kiss me right now." She whispered as she traces a finger on my lips, and I smirked. "Yeah! So... Can I? Can we?" I answered and asked her the magic question. "What about... No." She replied and I think my world shattered into a thousand pieces. What did she say? Did she decline? Did she say no?

“I need to talk to you.” She slid a cup across the counter to another customer. “You can email.” “This can’t be an email.” She finally looked at me then, and the wall in her eyes was unmistakable. “I’m working.” “I’ll wait.” “I’m saying no,” she said quietly. That word, no, hit differently than I expected. It wasn’t an angry no. It was closed and final conclusion. I leaned closer, lowering my voice. “Please.” She stared at me for a long moment, like she was weighing something. Then she shook her head. “I don’t want to do this here.”

“Remove your spell or whatever the fuck it was that you did.” She shook her head. “No.” “No?!” my voice rattled the windows. She dared to refuse? I closed the distance between us, my stance threatening. She inclined her head and looked at me, undisturbed by my outburst. “You didn’t say please.” I froze. Gaped at her. “Are you serious?”

Her eyes fluttered, the confidence that was once in it was shaky as she tried to say but ended up choking up a cracked voice, “ Well… he's never around and he's never asked.” I could feel my eyes about to bulge out as I screamed at her, “ The answer is a fucking yes or no! Tell me.” She winced from my voice, cracking out a response but I didn't let her finish as I shook my head and said softly, “ No.” “ He doesn't know.” I continued. Her face turned into a muddle of shame, I sighed as I walked to the door and I was about to leave but she plopped to her knees.

But her common sense supposed to know.

Clearing my throat, I said "Yeah." "Can I go?" she asked again. A thought crossed my mind. If I say 'no' then she'll try to convince me and I would love to hear that. All her complains about me and non-stop talkings when she wants something. "No. You can't. You can send Chloe." I said. She didn't say anything for few minutes. I waited patiently for her to start talking and fighting me, with that silly grin on my face. She finally said "Okay." With that she hung up.

She nodded and I stopped in my tracks. I'm done with this girl, I keep asking her for another way to re write my fate but she seemed to like the fact that I was always pleading so I wasn't going to do that anymore. "No." I answered simply and she turned to stare at me. "What did you say?" I questioned and I walked closer to her so she could hear me properly just in case her ear drums were perhaps failing her in any way. "I think what I said is pretty obvious, no! I said, No." I simply stated turned around and began walking in the other direction.

She just couldn't. “And I say no as well, I don't want to talk to you.” She starts to turn to leave, but she missed a step and then she began to fall backward.

“Then you’re more pathetic than I thought.” “Maybe,” I said. “But at least I’m not chasing someone who treats me like I don’t exist.” That hitHard, I could see it. The way her posture shifted. The way her expression tightened and suddenly, this wasn’t as fun for her anymore. “Stay away from him,” she said finally. “No.” The word came out instantly without hesitation and fear. Her eyes widened slightly. “Excuse me?” “I said no.” “You don’t get to say no.”
