Novel & Cerita When She Was Bad Book

I go the book I am currently reading, it is murder mystery/ thriller, titled ‘As good as dead’ and it is very interesting and intriguing. It was about a girl about to go to college, she is Blake’s age and she had spent the past two years solving murder cases and now she is clearly traumatized since in the last book, she had a guy die in her arms. I am not far in, I just started it on the plane and I have had much time to finish the book.

I was hoping to avoid this subject. “I cleaned. And read. Then went to bed.” I said. Her smile faded. “That’s it?” She asked. “Well.. It was a very good day. Up until Minerva showed up and ruined it.” I said as I shook my head in annoyance. Goddess, I really hated that woman. “Oh, what did she do this time?” She asked. “She ripped a book of the King’s.. a book I was reading. Then just said the most awful things. Lillian, if it’s okay.. I’d much rather not talk about it.” I said. She nodded her head and placed her hand on mine.

She moved on, tracing the edges of the books, pulling out the ones she was familiar with, and giving short lectures on them, recounting her favourite part with animated excitement. I learned her worst author was Charles Kirkson because his books always put her in a mood. I didn't say a word. I just watched her. Marvelled by her beauty. Her intelligence. I felt my chest tighten. She had no idea how beautiful she looked like this. She didn't know how she commanded every bit of my attention without even trying. She stopped abruptly, then turned to me, “What are your favourites? I mean, apart from Pride and Prejudice. I tilted my head, “You want to know?”

she whispers, gritting her teeth at me. "Take the damn book first. You can never reach it even if you jump with all your strength" She murmurs, gazing at me and taking the book and I bring her down. "What's this about?" I ask, leaning against the shelf and staring at her when she opens the book, putting her nose into it. "Serial killing," she groans as I raise my eyebrows in surprise. "I see. You aren't picking your favourite one. Romance" "It sucks," she scoffs.

Because of her mother’s wrath, she was sent to the Carter’s Group of Companies to be a secretary and instead of having fun on her summer vacation she was stuck being a secretary with the arrogant CEO. She planned everything on her mind. She can’t be called badass for nothing. But everything she planned out got destroyed when she met the CEO, who happens to be more badass than her! Everything she does is always flawed and she always being lost in the end! This is her first time being defeated by the arrogant CEO! If Millijay is the badass secretary, then Farris is the living devil CEO!

He turned when she came in. “There you are. Dinner in twenty, where were you?” She set the book down on her desk before he could see the spine. “Library,” she said. True. Technically, completely true. She was getting very good at true things that were also not the whole truth. She hated that she was getting good at it. She hated more that she’d do it again tomorrow. That night she opened the book to a random page. Found a margin note in blue ink, halfway down:

"Why are you wasting your time with a girl like that?" she said. "Girl like what?" I challenged. "Those cutesy skinny bitch type. They don't care about guys like you. She just wants to go out with you so she can experience the thrill of dating a bad boy. She'll discard you for some preppy kid after she is bored with you. Just like that," Keira snapped her fingers to emphasize what she just said.

BEN Sometimes, when something bad happens to you, you don’t tell people so they don’t pity you or offer pitiful looks. Gracie keeps doing that. She’s so overprotective and watchful of me like she’s afraid I’ll break down any second. I’m okay. “Can you stop?” I grumble out. She’s on my bed pretending to read a novel. The hand holding the book lowers. “I don’t like it.” “You don’t like what?”

Good riddance. After she’d put her food away, she wandered into the living room. She finally found a light switch, and when she flipped it on, she saw that there were books on the side table. She frowned. The books were all boring nonfiction tomes about economics, which sounded like terrible choices to provide your guests. Or the last guy was the most boring person ever and had left them behind.

Too full of himself.” “Then you do something with that.” “It’s his problem.” She took her phone from the matt behind her, a safe distance from the water. “I’d rather practice with online chatting than this, this is horrible.” Renee grabbed her phone and took a picture of her as she struggled to get it back. “What is wrong with you?” she screamed and stood to reach it, but Renee tiptoed higher.
