When Was Shadow The Hedgehog Born Novels & Stories

That was my best defence. A Shadow didn't awaken until it's bearer was twenty years old. No one knew why that age was so important but it had always been that way. That meant I'd only been a shadow for a paltry four years, just going on my first mission. Said mission was meant to be nothing active--until now-- but James? James' awakening was two decades ago--and counting. He was also one of the most powerful shadows in over a century. He was way stronger than dad. There was no way in hell I could win in a fight against him.

I asked, confused. “Shadow monsters grow rapidly; every minute they grow. They are one monster that grows fast in the demon kingdom, which is why they have a short life span. The oldest shadow monster on record is 50 years old; the second is 35. So yes, that can be a 3-year-old mixed shadow monster,” he replied. “Let me see the full footage,” I said. He did as I said, and I looked around at the footage. “I am just noticing this, but see this, your majesty. There is a mirror here, and the monster passed it, but the reflection didn’t show,” he said, and he was right.

It worked on a few of the younger Toten, but not for Anders. The Schatten were able to pick off about ten of the Toten as they backed away from the castle heading towards the river. They took one into custody and placed him in a circle of containment, where he could not shift into his shadow form. The Toten didn't have real Schatten forms; their shadows were weaker and more visible to the human eye. The fighting continued for hours, as each side gained some ground. Daan cast that one of the security guards went down; lost his head. Literally!

The thought made her blush hard. The forest began to thin. Lyra recognized specific trees now. That oak with the twisted trunk where she used to climb as a child. That stream where she'd caught her first fish. The boulder shaped like a sleeping bear. She was home. Really, truly home. Finally. Lyra emerged from the forest and stopped. The border guards stood at their posts, chatting quietly. When they saw her, their eyes went wide. One of them was James, she remembered his name. "Luna I mean, Lyra?" the younger guard stammered. His face had gone pale.

Potential allies awaiting catalyst for coordinated action against systematic injustice. "I require transportation," the Shadow Knight announced, awareness returning to immediate surroundings without losing expanded perception. As if summoned by cosmic synchronicity, shadows gathered at the circle's edge, coalescing into form suggesting equine configuration without conforming to biological limitation. Midnight substance flowed around bone framework mirroring his own integrated structure, creating nightmare steed manifested through similar evolution beyond conventional existence. The creature approached with predatory grace, crimson eyes reflecting cosmic awareness beyond animal consciousness.
