Julia cut in, folding her arms over her chest. “White Wolves are not a curse. They bring great fortune to the packs they are born into.” Julia laughed. “Great fortune? Are you fucking serious? Carlos, tell him.” His words were still sinking in. That thing inside her wasn't some strong, powerful White Wolf. It was a curse. ‘No, you don’t want to believe it because then you have to face what you’ve done,’ Matt growled. ‘Shut the fuck up.’ I had done what needed to be done.

With each name she called, my skin crawled , my heartbeat stuttered, the sound of these names were like keys, unlocking doors that should have remained locked “ Morwenna, stop,” I said, “You shouldn’t be doing this.” She ignored the sound of my voice as she continued to whisper. “Morwenna!” I had turned towards me, and even though her eyes were hidden, I could tell they were now fixed on me and when she finally spoke again. The voice wasn't entirely hers. “What is promised cannot be stopped, Malik.” “ What the hell are you talking about?” “ The curse feeds on blood and love but love is how it always finds its way back.”

I stood in the wreckage, chest heaving, claws dripping red. The door opened again. Blackthorn wolves flooded in. Their eyes locked on me, on the shadows still curling off my skin, on the glow still burning in my eyes. At the front stood Elder Cyril. His face was stone, his voice as sharp as the blade he carried. “The House of Glass cannot stand with a curse inside its walls. Either the curse is purged… or Blackthorn shatters tonight.” Kael stepped forward, his sword still bloody. “She’s not a curse. She’s mine.”

I contested, strongly. Such responsibility, the fate of two kinds in my hands... I didn’t know how to feel. Lazarus tilted his head, studying me. “You could be right but call it a feeling.” He jested. “Really?” I glowered; sarcasm laced on my tongue. “I’m supposed to trust your intuition on this.” He chuckled, amusement swirling within his orbs. “Ma Cherie, I’ve seen alot of wolves and Melody is unique. White wolves are a rarity; her fur reflects light blue under bright lighting.”

The shrine, the sky, the sand beneath her—all of it peeled away, pixel by pixel, memory by memory. “W-Wait!” Selena reached out toward him, heart clenching. “Don’t go yet! I still don’t understand—what am I supposed to do?!” But Nexus only smiled wistfully, brushing a hand through her hair one last time. “You’ll know when the time comes,” he whispered, his golden eyes glowing like dawn. Then everything shattered. White light exploded in every direction like glass under pressure and through it all: Theo’s voice—somewhere distant, calling her name like a tether pulling her through dimensions.

Ezra could tear the whole house down if he wanted to. The sound of wood cracking makes me jump. I hear the sounds of paws against dirt, snarls echoing across the backyard. Running to the window, I watch as the white wolf tears across the backyard, a howl rising from its throat. I hadn’t noticed much about Ezra’s wolf before—I’d been a bit too focused on trying not to die. But now, I notice everything. Like the way his coat isn’t exactly white, but a soft golden color. His voice fills the night sky, raising the hair along my arms before he disappears into the trees.

Lucifer was perplexed as he glanced at me and went silent for some time before finally speaking. "Why are you looking for Aida White?" he questioned. He explained that since Selena claimed to have returned to Aida White's body, a law student, "if she is employed in the legal field, she will be using the name Aida White rather than Selena Wolf." I asked, "Do you think you will get her back?" and he replied, "I hope so, I don't want to lose her, I love her Lucifer, you know that." I responded, "I know, but you don't have to convince me; you have to convince her," and he agreed.

"What is it?" "I had a dream last night. The house of silence turned into five ladies." Lord White arched a brow. He knew the house of silence. His ancestors, he was told, turned five whispers into that house, placing a curse to keep them so forever, and making sure every human they whispered to did avoid the house. Anna went on with her dream. "A voice said to warn you not to go to the sea. It said you would meet its wrath, and you won't get across."

"Oh that, alpha Melissa lead our warriors to victory, " she said unusually excited at the news. " Alpha Melissa? " I asked. " What! " Charlotte shouted springing up from my lap with shock written all over her face. I looked at her confused. "No... I don't." "Who are you with?" Susan asked. "Uhm she is a girl so don't get any ideas into your skull" I said throwing a glance at Charlotte who was now standing and pacing around the cave. I do not know why she was being worked up at the mention of Alpha Melissa.
