I Prefer a Slow-Paced Romance

I Prefer a Slow-Paced Romance

Carol blushed. “Pipe down. You don’t want other people hearing you.” She looked around. Thankfully, there was no one else around them. When Titus saw her reaction, he did not continue teasing her. He put some food on her plate. “You’ve become thinner. Have some more food.” Carol was about to retort that she had not become thinner when she remembered him whispering something into her ear when he pinned her against the lounge door. “Why is it smaller?”

Dear Author, you are mixing up the names so much in the first 20 chapters or so, maybe you should concentrate on one book at a time so you can keep track of your characters names?? Very frustrating and irritating!
Opal Joy Hamilton
All the books are the same stories with different names and titles, long and drawn out, women been abused and men with no backbone, why can't the couples fight for their love for each other, too much rape also, yuck

A LOVE LIKE OURS

A LOVE LIKE OURS

Fell apart into dust. --- Yvette collapsed. Tristan caught her. “Did we win?” she whispered. He held her tightly. “We gave her peace,” he said. “And kept yours.” --- They never spoke of the night again. Cara never drew the faceless woman again. But sometimes—when the wind blew too hard— Yvette would hear the faint sound of humming. Not haunting. Just a memory.

Scramble Game

Scramble Game

Carol hands out James’s birthday present to William. "Hey! I don't want to hold things like this.” his protest, even though Anthony or Sihan was there too. Carol smiled faintly. “Because you look the least busy right now.” “What? Shit!” Carol is indifferent to hearing curses that are limited to barking at her. Carol came over to Anthony's side so she could whisper in his ear. "Anthony, I'm sorry to bother you earlier..."

she replied coldly. Carol looked even more enraged. She snatched up her bag and stormed out with hurried steps, displaying her defeat. “Ashton will thank me when he wakes up later. Remember that! Only I know what’s good and what’s bad here!” Carol said before finally disappearing. ***

Trapped In The Body Of His Luna

Trapped In The Body Of His Luna

She couldn't even hurt her physically as Rebecca could easily call out to Tyler through the mind link. “Yes it does! I can't believe we came this far after all that happened between us but I've never been more happy in my life.” Rebecca gushed and Carol forced a smile. She thought she could get rid of Rebecca without having to kill her but now, that was the only way to get rid of her for good! “I..I'm happy for you.” Carol stuttered but immediately composed herself. “I just feel a little said that I got my wolf side before you but you got your mate before me.” She stated with a sad face and Rebecca stood up immediately, engaging her in a warm hug.

Hot Shot Divorce

Hot Shot Divorce

Violet had a good eye for people, and she showed no mercy for Carol. "Besides, as far as I know, you're younger than her. You're not qualified to call her young and ignorant." Carol's face turned pale at Violet's words. Then, she flushed red in embarrassment. She felt so humiliated that she wanted to hide in a cave. "Carol, I think I should take you home now." Chris stepped in to help Carol again. She had no choice but to take her chance. "Thank you, Chris." Before leaving, Carol wanted to say goodbye to Liam, but she realized he had already left without her noticing.

From Dust to Ashes: A scorned Bride

Pain doesn’t just vanish because you name it. Carol perched on the windowsill like a cat, arms still crossed. “You know,” she said, “for someone who was supposedly just eavesdropping, I already know your entire plan. Every shady detail.” Grey sighed. “Carol.” “No. I’m not judging.” She shrugged. “I’m saying I want in.” My brows shot up. “Really?”

Beyond the Divorce

Beyond the Divorce

"Hurry up and arrange the meeting! With my mood today, I might hit the jackpot!” Carol turned to make arrangements, but I asked her, "Hey! You haven’t told me the gender of the representative!” "It's a woman." Carol grinned. "Her name is Eleanor Wallist." "Oh... Who?" I got into character. "You said her name was what?" "Eleanor Wallist," Carol repeated. I slammed the table and burst into laughter. "It’ll be a piece of cake! I realized my ideas are working today. It seems this year’s going perfectly. My luck is unbelievable."

It was a good book. A lot of the mixup/changes in names/locations was very annoying. Wish we would have gotten a little more out of the ending of one of the main villains. Chapters also needed to be longer; a lot of money spent on this book for 5-6 pages per chapter.

I loved this book. I liked all the characters and their interactions. Loved Atlas & Chloe together. Parts of the book are very suspenseful and made it hard to put down. Liked that she was a mom and a business owner. She was strong and intelligent. Hated that the book was over. Highly recommend.

Then eyed her suspiciously. “What?” She shrugged, not knowing what was running through her friend’s mind to put that mischievous look in her eyes. ”You’re wearing it aren’t you?” “Wearing what?” She shouted back. “Willis’ shirt is what.” Carol retorted, then added “You know, the hoodie you’re wearing is not transparent. How’s he gonna know what’s beneath it.” “Sorry, I did not quite catch that.” She replied feigning ignorance. “Take. The. Hoodie. Off” Carol emphasized every word with a pause, shouting at the top of her lungs. At the same time, the music came to an abrupt halt with her voice ringing out into the now somewhat quiet court.
