He ignored Glara's presence, focusing instead on the vendor's staff arranging chairs and the wedding decorations. "Who is Damian?" Damian's mother asked from inside their house. "Oh, this poor woman, what is she doing here again?" she remarked after scrutinizing Glara from head to toe. "Oh, you're here to pick up your rotten belongings, right? Wait a moment!" The middle-aged woman nodded and hurried into the house, specifically into the room where Glara and Damian used to live.

As he turned into the corridor leading to the guest wing, he froze, his eyes fixed on the bloodied figure on the floor - his mother, Luna Seraphine. Damian rushed to her side, screaming "Mother!" as she stirred, still alive. He draped his jacket over her and helped her sit up, demanding to know who had done this to her.
