Who Is Mark's Girlfriend In Invincible Novels & Stories

"Mark, hey buddy." “Ryker! Glad you came." Mark stood up from his chair and welcomed Ryker with open arms. Ryker glanced at the people who were sitting around the table reserved by Mark. A woman in a tight white dress, but quite polite, sat next to the empty chair Mark had just left. Ryker assumed the woman was Mark's new girlfriend. "Congratulations to you, bro. You got a better woman." “Very much. This woman is the most beautiful gift. I think I plan to take our relationship to a more serious level.”

“I’ve been waiting for you.” My throat tightened. “What’s going on?”, My voice barely came out. It cracked like something inside me was breaking in slow motion. He let go of my hand. Then he turned and wrapped his arm around Isla’s waist, “I know it’s strange, reintroducing someone you’ve known your whole life,” he said with a laugh. “Especially when that someone’s your twin sister.” Then he looked at Isla. Eyes soft. Adoring, “Meet Isla,” he said. “My Mate and girlfriend.”

When he did not speak anything Mark continued, moving his specs above his nose tip. “Considering how Valeria is your fiancee, the most powerful man in the city. If she got abducted right under our noses, then that could only mean an equally or nearly powerful person. Now who could have that kind of audacity!?” Mark thoughtfully spoke while Adrian was left to filter out his list of enemies to find out the one who could pull such a stunt. Without another word, I turned and walked toward the car. Just then, a scream pierced through the forest. "Kaia was attacked by a black bear!" someone shouted. The moment the words were spoken, Chris was already sprinting in the direction of the scream. Kaia Valmont was Chris' ex-girlfriend. They were together for three years. She was an Omega with soft golden hair and a delicate, slender neck—like a real-life porcelain doll. She was the kind of woman who effortlessly awakened a man's protective instincts. Not long after, Chris walked over, carrying Kaia in his arms.

I smoothed my hair and tried to make my face look neutral. "Mark?" I called out, walking back inside. "I'm here. I just felt a bit faint." I turned the corner, expecting to see Mark’s worried face. Instead, I stopped dead in my tracks. Mark wasn't alone. He was with Tasha, Dave’s young girlfriend. He had her pinned against the wall. His hand was on her waist, and he was whispering something in her ear that made her giggle and toss her hair. "I don’t know why we haven’t met before". I heard Mark say, his voice thick with lust. "Dave is a lucky guy, but he’s too young to know what to do with a girl like you."

Danny said with a pathetic tone. "I wouldn't let that happen... I promise.... Stay here... I'll get back to you!" Mark said as he walked out, almost hastily. Mark was flabbergasted to find out that the Charity Wakins granddaughter, his betrothed with the mark of the the overlapping in her thighs was no other person than Diana, and not Hannah! It was all Jakes plan! Mark cursed as he walked out. However, he felt pretty excited and good. At least, a valid reason to love Diana has been provided and confirmed.

Every time I tried to, I saw Apphia crying and clutching her chest on the hospital rooftop, telling me how much the rejection hurt. "I can't do it," I admit. "Don't expect me to do it," she declares. She's so stubborn. "Suit yourself," I turn to walk away, but a mark on her neck catches my attention. I see red. I grab her arm and pull her closer to me. She winces, but I don't care, "What the fuck is this?" "What?" She seems lost. "You're marked!" I'm seething with anger. Why the fuck is she marked? Does she have a chosen mate?

Mark said, his tone serious, and I felt that I could trust him. "But what about Ava? She is Alpha Johnson's daughter," I said, getting more worried. "She is not my mate and she doesn't have any right over me or you. You are my girlfriend and my chosen mate. So, don't get worried about her," Mark said as he took the towel in my hand that I was about to return to the bathroom to dry it. Mark then used the towel to dry his own body and said, "Don't worry, babe. I will handle them. Let me go and dress up."

I asked, growing increasingly more concerned. "We don't know what happened, but Chase found them. Agent Marks was found dead at the scene." "WHAT?!" I unknowingly shouted, altering Jessica and waking Maverick from his sleep. Maverick began to cry, and Jessica picked him up, holding him in a tight hug. She looked over at me, but I didn't miss the concerned expression on her face. I could tell that she knew that something was wrong, and was desperate to find out what had happened. I switched the phone over to speaker phone, knowing that Jessica desperately wanted to know what had happened. Thankfully, Maverick was too young to understand what was going on.

It was everything good and Mark howled inside him, excited and restless. 'Mate. Mate,' Mark howled again, the word echoing in his mind. But.... How could this be? What the hell just happened? ........why a human? Why would a human be his mate? Again? He blinked slowly, his nostrils flaring in irritation as if she wasn't even human. As if she was some house roach that he'd want to trample under his feet. “You’re human…” he murmured, barely audible. “But why does it smell like fate?”
