Who Is Victoire In Harry Potter Novels & Stories

“You’re just a coward who hides behind fire and knives.” For a heartbeat, I have him. Then he smiles. Not a grin of fear, but one of anticipation. From the corner of my eye, movement catches my attention. A Valenti scout rushes forward, breathless, leaning toward Victoire at the council’s platform. He whispers urgently into her ear. I don’t hear the words. I don’t need to. Victoire’s face changes instantly. Her lips curve upward, slow and deliberate. Her eyes gleam with something cold and triumphant, like a chess player watching the final piece fall into place.

Victor studies every minute thing about his opponent, the slightly altered gait of his left leg due to some previous injury, and how he seems to favor his front right paw to tread. Harry does the same, studying Victor for weakness, anything to exploit in battle. From the way his eyes glitter, it's clear he's found what he's looking for. Victor's heart pounds in his chest, surrounded by the old ghosts of his childhood, in a house that makes not a peep, and yet it screams. It was in this very room that Harry held a newborn Victor in his hands, swaddled him, and handed him to his mother. The golden wolf attacks, all teeth, and claws reaching for Victor's throat. The younger jumps out of the way

It was unfair to the witches, she always said, and she claimed she wasn't scared of them, yet seeing one standing many feet away from her didn't do her any good; she didn't like it. “I won't hurt you; usually I don't hurt people; however, it is my brother's expertise,Victor .” Hayle, hearing the name Victor, knew something was off. She gathered herself off the ground, stood hastily, and was sure to keep an arm's length of distance between herself and the odd woman who stood before her.

Her name, etched in agony. And still… she hadn’t come. Not yet. His smile faded. “She’s close. But not ready. We push harder. We gut deeper. We take what’s hers until there’s nothing left but me.” “She is Hollowborn.” The voice coiled around his spine like frostbite. “You cannot strip her nature.” Victor’s jaw tightened. His nails scraped stone. “Then I’ll own it. Hollowborn or not, the girl’s mine.” Far below, the forest hissed in disagreement. Branches cracked. An owl shrieked. Wolves howled—but not for him.

Sylvain angled himself toward me, "Can you perform spells?" My brows dipped into a V, "I can but it depends on the complexity of the spell and how much magic I have in me." "How much do you have?" "Considering Kali was a powerful witch, I have a fair amount." "Was?" Quade interjected and I was certain he found the situation humorous by the way a morbid smile had his teeth glinting menacingly, "what are we missing here?" "The witch Victor had tracked down for me is dead. Tania killed her," Sylvain dared Quade to challenge him and pry further but the Alpha of the Midnight Sun pack failed to take the bait.

He sighed, relaxing back in his seat and eating the delicious mix instead of growling at her as expected. He didn't want to play her games anymore, it only fueled her fire. He was sure as hell not in his right senses. How he ended up running away from his brother with a castle maid that he was annoyingly attracted to and whom he knew absolutely nothing about except her name, he didn't know. He really was foolish and yet he let her toy with him. He was forgetting himself. He was Victor, dangerously victorious and his victory came with a price. He looked down at his almost empty plate. If he was smart....
