The Two Kings and the Lost Elder

The Two Kings and the Lost Elder

He hasn't had the time to go shopping and fill his kitchen. Nathan's mouth watered when Coal placed a plate in front of him with a large juicy cheeseburger, twice-baked potatoes topped with melted cheese and green onions. “I don't know if you like sour cream, but here's some if you do,” Coal said as he slid the tub of sour cream toward Nathan before walking around the counter and sitting beside him. When Coal's large form sat in the chair next to him it made Nathan feel so tiny. He thought he looked like a child sitting next to an adult when sitting next to the large bear shifter.

Three Fates, One Luna

Three Fates, One Luna

By the time I finished, my fingers were black with charcoal and my back hurt from sitting hunched over the paper. But I had it. Almost every symbol. Every line. Every tiny mark. I looked down at the pages. Now I just had to figure out what any of it meant. I passed the kitchens on my way upstairs. That was a mistake. Or possibly the best decision I'd made all day. Something smelled incredible. I stopped in the doorway. An older woman stood behind a long wooden table, slicing a wheel of cheese. She glanced up. "You hungry?" "Always." "Good answer."

Mr. CEO, You Have to Marry My Mommy

Mr. CEO, You Have to Marry My Mommy

Sky whispered, amusedly. "I have a feeling that my book has moved up a class, Mommy. This bookstore is big. It will be hard to find my book if it has moved." Suddenly, Summer stopped walking. Her eyes were round, her mouth wide open. "See? My book is no longer in the top corner!" Summer jumped a little. She checked the other corners of the shelves. Not finding her book, her laughter escaped. "Mommy, Daddy, my book has indeed moved up a class! Let's find where it is now!"

I pointed at them. “Yeah, I do. They've always been visible.” He responded nonchalantly. I shook my head and said, “No, this is different, they're moving.” Curious, he leaned forward, peering into the book attentively. Then he looked at me for a while and said, “Nah, I don't see it.” “You don't?” I asked, surprised. Because they're still moving. He shrugged and picked his phone back up. I flipped to another page that had a picture, and this time, the pictures were no longer still; they were moving in action, demonstrating the manipulation of the elements.

Forbidden Affairs With My Brother-in-law

Forbidden Affairs With My Brother-in-law

Chapter 16: The Wrong Move. (Ava's POV) A smile flashed across my face, seeing the final results of what I had cooked. For a minute, I felt like a chef who deserved an award; a golden one. I chuckled. It was pure beauty! Straight out of heaven. The grilled cheeseburger was sitting elegantly on the glass place, accompanied by some french fries. I had also roasted a full chicken, and surprisingly, it came out so good, despite how long it had been since I last cooked for myself.

Escape

Escape

If he can see every move I make, how will I ever make a move against him? During my rampage of a small bookshelf on the wall next to the bed, I find classic books such as, The Catcher in the Rye, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and so on. Spotting amongst the classics a leather bound book with no title or author. I slowly open it and inside handwritten pages are revealed. May 12th 1998

I was almost laughing when I remembered where I was and I am not about to get kicked out for laughing at the tiny creatures that were working and flapping their ears to fly to different shelves , after walking for almost twenty minutes just because the place is huge and she just told me to take that left aisle and walk to the end of the aisle but it was one extremely long aisle. I saw the table at the end of the aisle and on it is the biggest book I have ever seen, I was giddy until I got close and found that the book body looks like it was made from green flesh, I almost lost my breakfast but I pulled myself together and forced my self to sit on the chair before reaching to it and opened it

The Day I Stopped Loving Him

The Day I Stopped Loving Him

Her finger moved beneath each word, whether she needed it to or not. Léo had arrived at six-thirty with bread from the bakery two streets over—the dark sourdough with seeds Chloe called the crunchy bread. We had eaten at the kitchen table while the rain gathered itself outside. No one had commented on it. It did not require acknowledgement. After dinner, Chloe moved to the sofa. Léo sat beside her on one side. I sat on the other. She read aloud from the book—a story about a bear trying to find somewhere to sleep for winter, moving from place to place, discovering that each one was already occupied. Every space held something wrong from the bear’s perspective, and something entirely right fro

Just started love how the story is going! Only hope she continues with a strong backbone determination and shoves his face to the ground and steps as she walks away! Will be disappointed if it goes like every other online story and she goes back to the scumbag!
LaTonya Veasley
Great story line but it’s over 200 chapters already. When is it ending? Only read completed books to NOT get intricately involved only to get disappointed because lots of authors are dragging story lines into hundreds of chapters yet those chapters are unfulfilling and by doing so, risking ratings.

Traveller Of Two Worlds

Traveller Of Two Worlds

In reality, it was just a modern cheese and butter recipe book that Mies had gifted her, secretly smuggled from Earth. Only the Aeternum Royal Family knew the truth behind this book’s origins. Mina, however, didn’t care where the book came from—all she knew was that its contents were nothing short of divine enlightenment. She traced a finger over the pages, reading about exotic cheese varieties and butter-making techniques. Blue cheese, brie, parmesan, gouda, mozzarella—each name sounded more magical than the last. Even the butter recipes had her eyes sparkling with excitement. “Herb-infused butter? Salted caramel butter? Truffle butter?” she whispered, her cow-like ears twitching in delight

Bound to the Villain who craves me

Bound to the Villain who craves me

“Do you remember where the key is? It has to be connected to something. Let’s start there.” I moved over to my desk where I hid the key inside the dairy Aunt Eloise had gifted me. I went still. My body went cold as I flipped the book upside down. I could barely control the shaking of my hands, flipping the book over again, and again. It was empty. My blood boiled, someone had gone through my things. “It’s gone.”
