He Moved His Assistant Home

He Moved His Assistant Home

A young woman who looked like a college student timidly raised her hand and pointed at me. "I made the call. She said she was the Knight family's heiress!" All eyes turned to me. My mother started walking toward me, but Lily quickly rushed over and tried to tug at her sleeve ingratiatingly. "Mrs. Knight, this crazy woman is a liar! She's not Sherry! She's just some homewrecker who came crawling to Rob!" Rob let out a relieved breath and moved to support my mother. "Mom, you've got it wrong. Sherry is perfectly fine abroad. How could she be here?

Sunrise Kisses

Sunrise Kisses

“Or you'll get hangry.” Her reference to this morning made me smile and I took the cheese. Despite knowing that it was probably the best, most expensive cheese on the whole island, it was tasteless to me. I chewed automatically, more to make Charlotte happy than because I was hungry. The door at the end of the hallway swung open and I jumped to my feet, nearly spilling my cup of tea. I set it on the tray, spilling most of it, before hurrying to talk with Dr. Verner.

Lilith III

Lilith III

“I am going to look at what's going on in the hallway.” I watched her as she tiptoed to the door, carefully turning the knob. She didn't want to be conspicuous, so she peeked through the tiny opening of the door. I smiled because that's the Mel I remembered. She wasn't as inquisitive as I was, but she had enough in her, which made us a great team. Lifting my face, I sniffed the airspace, what is that smell? Is something burni... Oh god! The cheese! I rushed over to the stove, grabbing hold of the pot handles, “Fuck! It's hot! It's hot!” The pain from the hot made me let go of it, and the pot of cheese spilled on me but most of it was on the floor.

I Transmigrated Back To A Book For Revenge

I Transmigrated Back To A Book For Revenge

… White light flashed, and I returned to the real world. I was back in my old apartment. Everything felt like a long dream. I looked at myself in the mirror. My image felt familiar, yet strange. In that world, I had felt the depths of hate and the thrill of revenge. Everything had settled into a quiet calm. My phone buzzed with a news alert. [Genius pianist Xavier Zane announces a global tour. Tickets sold out instantly!] I froze. Xavier Zane? I clicked on the article and saw a face that I could never forget.

Pregnant For My Father-in-Law

Pregnant For My Father-in-Law

My mouth watered before I even opened the first door. I didn’t think. Didn’t plan. Just feasted. Grabbed a loaf of fresh bread from the counter, still warm, crust crackling under my fingers and tore into it like an animal. The first bite hit my tongue soft, yeasty, and perfect. I moaned low, shoving more in, barely chewing. Then cheese, sharp cheddar, creamy brie ripped off chunks with my hands, stuffing them in alongside the bread.

Dax said he wants Ciara and he cares for her if that’s true, he should break things off with Zora. Then he never mentioned her before and he spends all his time with Ciara, so he doesn’t love Zora clearly

THIS IS DELICIOUS Not the average Alpha and Luna werewolf story. The author never fails to keep you needing more. . The steam is extra steamy! The characters are never quite what they seem. Just when you think you know-you don’t. I will definitely read it again. #teamDax&Ciara forever

Slightly Lazy, Evil, Carefree Cultivator (Book 1)

Slightly Lazy, Evil, Carefree Cultivator (Book 1)

The second piece was just the same as the first, but adding more detail and background after they viewed their mistakes in the first. "Taking both of these." Ren rolled them up. "I take it as an illustration of your old home?" Two gave him a sad nod. "Hmm, ok. Come along now." Ren pulled the book to him and started to read as they walked. They made it out of the courtyard when Zero and Three ran up. "Can we come as well, Master?" Zero asked. Three just looked on excitied.

Married To The Arrogant Vampire Prince

Married To The Arrogant Vampire Prince

What the hell is happening here? “What the fuck?” I say. Is this some kind of prank that Victor’s decided to pull? He should know that we are not in high school anymore, and this kind of behaviour is nothing but stupid. I don’t understand what this means, but I know it’s nothing good. I don’t know what to do. Should I touch the book? Should I even go near it? What if something bad happens to me if I do touch the book? The book finally stops moving, and it stays on one page. There’s an image in the book. I look hard at what’s being portrayed, and it’s the image of a beast with large horns.

LADYS GUY PRINCE DOUGLAS

LADYS GUY PRINCE DOUGLAS

With a gentle hug, I put the book down and immediately left for work. At 5:30 I was behind the shop waiting for my employers. I began to think about what happened last night. I was contemplating how a small book could increase in size by itself. The book could talk and give instructions for humans to follow. What amazed me more was the fact that fire of blood could rest in a bowl and the book didn’t burn but when I put my hand I was burning that I could even felt the fire even in my intestines.

The Mafia Princess

The Mafia Princess

The mansion was painted white but this room was painted red to match my room and it looked like it was done recently. I could still smell the faint smell of paint. With a big smile, I strolled to my study desk and picked up my chef book to observe. That Devil in an Armani. This is how he knows about my favorite dishes. This book had the procedures for each one of them. He didn't have magical powers after all. It was his sneaky ability to get whatever he wants as he has claimed earlier. But why? Why move everything I own from my place to here in New York?

The Wolf’s Fate

The Wolf’s Fate

Strange… As I kept looking, that same book was calling me. I could hear whispers coming from it, and my heart skipped a beat just at the sound of it. More growling caught my attention, as if begging me to grab it. And that’s what I did. I grabbed that book and hid it under my shirt. It was not big, so it fit perfectly under the fabric. I zipped up my sweater and sat down with the family as if nothing happened. “We are very happy that you decided to move up here and we promise you will love it,” Adira said, looking straight at me.

For a first werewolf story written by this author, it is a fantastic story that I really enjoyed, would have read it at once but had to keep the suspense. Finished reading this story the second time, could not just put it down. Well done for the twist in the story, made it more interesting.
Carol Murray
This was a great book! I couldn't even tell this was the author's first werewolf book, she had to tell me in the Author's Notes. Lots of cool twists, it's a great romance and coming-of-age story. I wish this platform had the ability to let me help the author proofread this wonderful story!!
