ILLUSION

ILLUSION

I interrupted "What is it" "I found this book under the bed," I said as I tried to open it but couldn’t "Damm it, it needs a key" I whispered "The key is here," Lyon said as he handed it over to me "Where did you get the key babe?" "It was wrapped on the piece of paper" "Is there something written on the paper" He turned the paper around before he spoke "Nothing is written on it" he said as he threw the paper on the floor I grabbed the key and unlocked the book before Liv spoke

The Billionaire Ex-Wife's Return

The Billionaire Ex-Wife's Return

I forced my legs to move, marching to the front door with shaking hands. Fumbled with the keys. Dropped them. “Shit.” I crouched down, snatching them off the ground so fast I nearly dropped them again. Then I shoved the key into the lock, wrenching the door open. I stepped inside and immediately locked it behind me. Click. Click. Deadbolt. Security latch. Alarm. Safe. Or at least, as safe as I could be. My body sagged against the door, a heavy breath escaping me. But the moment of relief was short-lived.

Shades Of Kara

Shades Of Kara

She stopped and stared at my father's favorite book, which laid on one of the arm chairs. "It's no coincidence, that his favorite book moved the shelf to reveal the false wall, and you said he always keeps a key close to the door, isn't that close enough?." She explained to me, as she grabbed the book. Scanning through the pages, I remembered he said his favorite chapter of the big book, was chapter twelve. "Try chapter twelve!." I said to her. "Please be there!." She said and swiftly found the chapter. Suprisingly the chapters title was... Key to all the answers you seek... Coincidence?.

Alpha, Let's End This Bond!

Alpha, Let's End This Bond!

I just focused on the weight in my arms and the silver key burning a hole in my pocket. I was moving out. And this time, I wasn't leaving any breadcrumbs for him to follow. *****

Teach me to desire

Teach me to desire

"Are you ready for tomorrow? The movers will be here at seven." "I'm ready. I already have my bag packed with my school stuff. I don't want that getting lost in the big truck." "Smart," he said. "I kept my lecture notes in the car already. I don't trust the movers with thirty years of economic research." We spent the next hour doing a final sweep of the rooms. We found a few things we’d missed—a stray sock under the bed, a bookmark I’d left in the library, and a spare key to the terrace.

He Moved His Assistant Home

He Moved His Assistant Home

I was vacationing abroad, half-heartedly entertaining the blind dates my mother kept setting up. As for Rob, I hardly thought of him anymore. My life was moving forward.

From Underneath the Floorboard

From Underneath the Floorboard

Kat cleared her throat which made Robert turn in response. “There she is the Queen of the castle!” He smiled and grabbed a bottle of her favorite champagne, Moet from the counter. He filled a styrofoam cup handing it to her and giving her a kiss on the cheek. “Moving day is hardly worth a bottle of champagne.” She said sourly but something. But something in his step put a smile on her face. He seemed lighter today. Maybe he was just trying to make up for having to move again.

The Omega and Her Three Wolves

The Omega and Her Three Wolves

My heart slammed into my ribs as though Zach had just said he wanted to kill me, rather than that he was going to keep watching me. The tears started to fall, and I turned away quickly. “Stop looking at me,” I choked out. “I’m out of here,” Zach growled. His footsteps stalked toward the door, but he hesitated. “Where are your keys? I’ll bring your car back to the house.” “It doesn’t have any gas,” I mumbled. “Where are your keys?” I pointed at the bag I’d taken with me the previous night, the one still full of books. Zach snatched it from the floor and grunted. When he opened it, he let out a strangled grunt of disbelief.

Taming The Wild Alpha 2

Taming The Wild Alpha 2

But before I left for good, I looked at her over my shoulder and said, “Remember what I said. If we ever meet again, I won’t let you live.” ° ° ° ° ° ° ° I took a deep, calming breath before I inserted the key and unlocked the Book of the Damned. The second I heard the click sound, there was an earthquake. Or at least, I’d thought it was an earthquake until I realized that everything else inside my room was staying perfectly still except for the book and my hands that were holding it. The book was shaking, and I feared that it would burst at any moment. Luckily, the shaking ceased after a few minutes and the cover of the book swung open, revealing the first page.

Thank you for the chapters I hope they come more frequently. I just love this story and really hope they over come this disease and be happy. I believe that he just marked her this time because he may have seen her with Ero and knows that he wants her and always have.
