روايات وقصص ضمن Why A Raven Is Like A Writing Desk

she wanted to add, "You use the dove when you want to show people your kindness, and use the raven when you want to scare and fuck people up their asses with your power." KIEK! The dove puffed out its chest proudly and the raven lowered its head sadly. Seeing them, Ezra laughed. "Why, Why? Were your personalities the opposite of your appearances? The raven is kind and the dove is evil?” KIEK! COO! Ezra laughed again seeing the raven and the dove fight with each other. “Your Highness, are you trying to comfort me?” asked Ezra. She was sure Heinrich could hear her and controlled the two birds in front of her.

A black raven spreads its dark wings as it flies in the air, a letter in between its beak. It had only one job, and that was to deliver the letter assigned to it. After flying for hours, the raven slowly circled down, then perched on the ledges of a window. Using its beak, the raven tapped on the window. Minutes later, Tamina climbed down from her bed, then made her way to the window in her chamber. She opened the window and was stunned to see a raven with a scroll snapped between its beak.

I whispered, a look of longing on my face. Without Raven, there's no light in my life, only darkness. She's the only one who can tame me, tame my wolf. “I feel sorry for you,” Aeress’s voice breaks. “Choosing a life without love, without emotions, without affection, it’s only misery that awaits you now. Raven is different. She’s full of life, she’s vibrant, she’s loving. She has a dark side to her but that only makes her more admirable in my eyes. She doesn’t give up, hell, that’s proof right there,” she yelled, motioning to Raven inside the room, “she’s a survivor. She’ll go to the depths of the earth for somebody she loves. Can you say the same!”

Osric answers while sitting on the edge of the lounge near Raven’s head making her smile. “How are you doing? It’s a big tattoo, you hurting yet?” I question, looking down at her hip to see the raven in red ink at the top of her hip taking up almost her entire thigh. The tattoo is very cool, the Raven is in a defensive attack position and made of knots like you would see in old Norse temples. “Enjoying talking to these guys, and getting to know Ares a bit better, it stings when it’s right over the bone but not bad,” Raven admits while looking down at the tattoo gun pressing against her skin, as Ares works on the dark red outline.

Dev mockingly said, "Birds of same feathers..." Ivan joined to add some line in the sentence for his friends, "...flocks together..." Dev continued the sentence, "...And when they flock together..." Ivan completed the sentence, "...they fly so high..." Dev finished his conversation, “The perfect day for crispy roasting of ravens.”

It was her first time speaking that much in class, and now every pair of eyes was on her. The lecturer hesitated, then cleared his throat. “Alright. For your assignment, write extensively on the significance of the ravens.” He smiled faintly. “Meanwhile, you can visit the school museum. There’s a portrait of Queen Elara- the one Monk Alphonso drew. It’s said her beauty was beyond words.” He picked up his notes and paused just before leaving. “Legend says, in the eyes of the Queen, only can the Raven King be restored.” Liana’s head tilted. “In the eyes of the Queen…” she repeated under her breath.

He sternly told me if I ever tried it again, I wouldn’t walk back. I still ran…. But this time, I didn’t stop until I found a life worth staying for. Sometimes Raven falls asleep on the couch. She looks like a warrior at rest, which is to say: never truly at peace. But when she sleeps, I see the cracks, the softness, the ache. And I love her more for not hiding it. The chair I built creaks when you shift your weight. Elias says it sounds like it’s telling secrets. I told him maybe it is.

His gaze was piercing, like he could see right through her. "About that..." She began, but he stopped her with a shake of his head. "You don't have to explain to me." He said softly. "If you need to be alone, you only have to say it. I'll keep my distance." Now she felt horrible for avoiding him like a plague. She sighed and looked back at him. "What's the raven for? I've never seen it." "It's a messenger bird." He explained. "The Wildings use them to send important messages to other packs."

“The mailroom’s downstairs, if…” “I’m looking for…” The delivery man checked the tablet balanced on top of the unmarked white box. “…a Raven Cannon. Is anyone by that name here? I need a signature.” Raven rose shakily, trying to steady herself with her hands against her desktop. Quickly, she slipped the folder into a desk drawer and locked it, closing the tiny key in her fist like a talisman. Then she let it fall into her pocket and stepped out into the common space. “I’m here,” she said, trying to be brave.

“It’s not like that. I’m not hearing actual words. It’s more… a feeling.” Before Emerson could respond, the wind surged again, rattling the door to the office. Raven turned toward it instinctively. His brow furrowed. “And now the wind has feelings too?” Emerson muttered. “Great.” “You don’t feel it?” “I feel annoyed that someone left a window open,” Emerson shot back. He was irritated. The banter shifted then as Raven leaned back. His posture finally relaxed as they talked about lighter things. “Porsche,” Raven said, smirking. “You named your AI sex bot after your car? Do you have a toaster named Tesla too? I think you should have bought that tomato cutter so you could call it Ferrari.”
