A deep rumble pierced through my fading hearing, “this is on you, Grace.” Then there was the silence. Voices vanished leaving nothing but the heavy weight of the void. Like they say, life on borrowed time. It will never be yours, nor mine. Not until a spark of light crack the walls of oblivion. Chapter 33 – Fire in the Blood The clearing reeked of blood and burnt bark. Raven stood among the fallen patrol, her claws digging into her palms until her knuckles bled. The Hollow hadn’t just threatened her it had struck, leaving her wolves as pawns in its twisted game. Behind her, Ragnar shifted uncomfortably, but he didn’t look away from the bodies. His jaw was clenched tight, fists trembling at his sides. He wasn’t a wolf, wasn’t a soldier, but his grief for them was raw, unfiltered.

Raphael is more interested in the beauty in his arms. He turned her in his arms so that now she is looking at him. He locked his gaze with hers. Slowly the fog around him began to disappear, showing the form of the real Raphael. The handsome Raven Prince. But his eyes are still pitch black and he still looks scary to everyone. There is still no recognition in him about who he is. But the darkness and the urge to kill and immense hatred are not so intense.

I reached for a clean cloth as though the conversation meant nothing to me. “What brings Ironclaw warriors all the way to Bloodfang?”

The only thing running through my mind was her safety. Raven was one who needed no one because she could protect herself. For her to call me simply meant that things had gotten out of hand. Suddenly, a wave of flames burst out of him. “That's it, fireball. Let them all burn…” He chuckled. I didn't wait to find out what the psycho was on about and dashed off. If he wanted to get Raven, he would have to get to her first. Arriving at the gates of BloodFang, I killed everyone and anyone who tried to stop it.

D has been searching for us during the day because they know that Al is a vampire and that means for us, we would have to stop, rest and start moving at night, they want to catch us off guard, "Oh," I muttered, "Thanks I guess... I believe people can read this as a novel but in reality the author just wants to expose their readers to the monsters they see in other worlds. The title 'Desire for thirst' was inspired from my personal experience of writing this series. The main character in Desire for thirst is the werewolf which murdered my mom. For every novel, I make some particular things to specify from each book like the manner of killing. Likewise, the manner I used in Desire for thirst is man in Balck clothing slashing his victims throat after cutting out their tongue. i got shocked after seeing the similar manner of killing in the news. Was it only a coincidence or... i couldn't even come up with any ways to thi
