She Runs with Wolves

She Runs with Wolves

One open eye was turned toward us, black and beady and forever unseeing. “And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon’s that is dreaming,” I whispered to myself, unable to draw my own eyes away from that of the bird. “And the lamp-light o’er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor. And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor,” I swallowed, “shall be lifted – nevermore.” “Is it a crow?” Kathrena whispered. I shook my head, dread settling like lead in my stomach. “It’s a raven.”

Such an exciting read so far! I am enjoying getting to know our main characters and discovering how their lives have come together while trying to anticipate what might happen next as each chapter is released. Having just finished the entirety of The Beta’s Daughter, this author is an amazing writer

A fantastic second novel, with a refreshingly different tone from the previous entry. The mythologies in this are very well developed and I am very excited to see how the story unfolds! The protagonist and her love interest and very engaging too and I am rooting hard for them!

After reading the prologue, I give this a 5-star rating. The author has successfully got my attention, albeit werewolves' stories are not my cup of tea. I can feel the love for the family of a father whose duty is to protect them all cost. Kudos!

I really enjoyed this continuation and I can’t wait to read the next book! I just have so many questions…also what of the King’s quadruplets!? Or perhaps there could be like a spin-off that can dive into the vampire side cause since the first book there has been no mention of Skaii’s sister!

Blood Moon Twin Lovers

Blood Moon Twin Lovers

The briefest of smiles played on Raven's lips, but she said nothing, her eyes giving away a hint of amusement mixed with surprise. Yet, even as they endeavored to be there for her, Raven's enigmatic aura persisted. Her long, ebony tresses, often catching the sunlight, created a halo around her, making her seem ethereal. Her deep-set, emerald eyes held a world of secrets and experiences that both twins yearned to understand. She exuded both fragility and tenacity, a complex tapestry woven from her past. Every so often, Shade and Silas would catch her observing them—a subtle arch of an eyebrow, the narrowing of her eyes, or a thoughtful tilt of her chin. These small gestures spoke volumes of h

The Alpha Queen and her Human Mate

The Alpha Queen and her Human Mate

Chapter Sixty: Break the Darkness Darkness swallowed everything. Raven stood in a void of black, unable to see the snow, the trees, or the pack. The cold pressed in, heavy, filled with whispers. They let her die. You are alone. You will fail them, too. The whispers twisted around her, clawing into her chest, dragging memories she tried to forget into the open. Her mother’s scream. Blood on the floor. Hands reaching for her, slipping away, cold, lifeless.

Their Human Mate Stella

Their Human Mate Stella

Alpha Kayden - POV The autopsy report Harris brought in arrived late, and I read through it in the library while he called someone to fix the shattered window. The findings were disturbing: Raven was indeed a werewolf, but her heart contained a dark core—an intensity unlike anything we’d seen before. It was similar to the aura we found in the abandoned Night Angel pack building, yet this one was stronger, darker. The report went on to say that Raven’s transformation began in childhood, fueled by an herb called Henbane, a plant that only grows in the desolate lands. Henbane, they said, hadn’t been active for decades, not since Raven was imprisoned. I set the report aside, my thoughts swirling

Darkness

Darkness

"It's an immortality spell." She shook her head. "Not likely. Immortality is a myth. You'd have to be a god to do that. Is the darkness a god?" "I don't think so." My eyes shifted through more of the books. They all had one thing in common: the need for a blood relation of the person casting the spell or the person they were summoning. "So, If not immortality, then the darkness must be summoning a Grey. Are they trying to summon my mother?"

Fated to the Alpha Stepbrother

Fated to the Alpha Stepbrother

"Move aside, or I will put a hole through your forehead before you can raise that barrel." "She won't be moving," another voice purred from the shadows behind Nella. A tall silhouette stepped into the light. Ravena. Her dark hair was pulled back, her eyes reflecting the flashlight beam with a strange, sickening purple tint that didn't belong to any normal wolf. The air around her seemed to warp, dark, smoky tendrils of magic curling around her boots and seeping into the water. "Marcus, fire!" Bellamy yelled.

The Alpha Protocol

The Alpha Protocol

The light pulsated, synchronous with her heartbeat, and it seemed almost as if the crystal tried, to eat in their skin. “Let him go,” said Raven cold, raising his blade while he was out of the shadow entered. The woman turned her head. Your eyes that once had a normal color had to, had now passed through the same creepy carmesin red. You smiled, and it was a smile that allowed Raven to freeze the blood in the veins. It was not insane – it was completely, terrifyingly clear.

Wanting Damien

Wanting Damien

She was sobering up a bit, when she came back to the living room she found the other girls seated and still drinking. "What took so long Raven?" "I got lost." "Oh come and drink some more then." Raven felt flushed and she knew for not it was not the alcohol that was influencing this flush that she was feeling, it was definitely seeing Damon naked. After a couple of more hours they decided to call it a night, Raven lay on her bed and it didnt take long for her to fall asleep as she had drank so much alcohol. She woke up the next morning feeling groggy, and when all the thoughts of last night came flooding back in, Raven knew she would be getting fired.

LIGHT AFTER DARK

LIGHT AFTER DARK

She would rival Meghan, she thought wryly. Demis was absent from the dinner table. “He’s resting in bed,” Francine explained. “There has been too much excitement for one day.” Meghan, brilliant as a butterfly in emerald lace, laughed thinly. “Excitement? Here on this godforsaken rock? You’ve got to be joking!” “This is a difficult time for all of us,” Francine murmured. “He’s dying but I might as well be dead too,” Meghan complained bitterly. “I absolutely hate this place.”
