My Boss’ Secret Is My Undoing!

My Boss’ Secret Is My Undoing!

In other words, they would have to climb on foot the entire way. "Dad, it's over three thousand meters! There's no way we can climb it on our own!" Zacharias exclaimed. Fear was evident on everyone's faces as they hesitated. However, Xavier's resolve was unshakable. "We're going up, no matter what obstacles lie ahead! This is my only chance at survival!" And so, the Yorks abandoned their luxury cars and began the arduous trek up the mountain, relying solely on their own strength. It took hours of relentless climbing, during which many of them nearly collapsed from exhaustion, before they finally reached the summit.

Saved, Then Rejected by my Ice Hockey Mate

Saved, Then Rejected by my Ice Hockey Mate

“My face says many things.” “Yeah, mostly annoying ones.” I climbed again. Failed again. Then again. And again. By the fifth time I landed directly on my backside, my pride was in ruins. Snow clung to my clothes, my hands were numb, and my dignity had officially died somewhere around the third fall. I glared at the mountain like it had personally insulted me. Alaric sighed. Then, finally— “You cannot climb the mountain because it's winter season. Besides, citizens of Cladbridge have a special entry.”

A Contract Marriage With The Billionaire’s Mad Son

A Contract Marriage With The Billionaire’s Mad Son

Anyone in my shoes would brood such thought; he was far way violent and could clench on my throat and strangle me only to push me over the mountain. We were at the summit of the mountain now and it was about climbing down. It was going to be impossible. While having him in my embrace, I kept at the song and thought about means of leaving this mountain safely. I believed the Fanny’s would be wired with the distress of his whereabouts now and I wondered how long they had been searching for him.

Destined to love

Destined to love

Frank muttered as turned back “Let’s go back a little and have another look. I think that’s a weird pattern for a climber.” Frank and Sarah trotted back and sure enough it was weird. The climber with tiny yellow green flowers was arranged in a F shape. They dismounted and walked towards the climber. “Ah!” Sarah rubbed her angle where she was scratched. “Go back and wait.” Frank instructed as he moved forward. Sarah stopped with a pouting expression but didn’t go back. Frank saw the treasure box was surrounded by small thorny shrubs and he couldn’t get close. He asked Sarah “Is there any long sticks near you?”

Games of Invictus

Games of Invictus

How had he gotten that close? I whipped around. Sure enough, Draco Fisk stood above me at the apex of the slope. I lashed out and pushed the rifle away before he could fire. Grinning, I spun and kicked out with my heel, catching Draco's leg and sending him tumbling down the rocky slope. He landed on his back in the snow with a grunt, the rifle falling further down the mountainside. The snowstorm had picked up considerably and the wind ripped at any exposed skin. The wind howled.

His Regret

His Regret

He took off to a mountain. And we chased after him instantly. It thundered in the skies as the rain kept being persistent with its downpour and it made our ascent up the mountain a very threatening one as one could slip and make a near-fetal or fatal fall down from a bad height. Thankfully, we had claws so we used our claws to climb up the mountain. He was headed for the top and the whole idea of it was stupid as he would get up to the top and still have nowhere else to run.

No steamy season yet in this book.only in the description of the story that’s it. Very misleading. I agree it started out great but the writing and character seem to be very childish I am loosing interest really fast. Even though it’s fave stars it should be two maybe three no more so far.

ROSES ON FIRE

ROSES ON FIRE

Vincenzo stood beside me, looking curiously into my eyes. “Well, Francesca, how did you find the experience?” he asked me, smiling slightly. My heart leapt into my chest at the sight of him, and my thoughts flew back to the moments we had spent together on the mountain. I remembered our passionate kiss, his warm hand holding mine tightly as we climbed. I collected my thoughts and responded with a shy smile. “Yes, Vincenzo, it was an incredible experience. Thank you for being here to help me from falling off the mountain.”
