Jordan warned, “Everyone in the Fox family, including myself, must obey Kathleen’s order. Otherwise, get out of the Fox family as soon as possible and leave!” Xavion shrank in fear and hurriedly said, “I understand, Grandpa…” At the same time, Rosalie, clad in a black suit, opened the door and strode to Kathleen. “Miss Fox, there’s one minute left.”

She hissed as Mateo caught the gun before it could reach the floor. He put his cold hand around her nape and pulled her forward – until her forehead was inches away from his. Faith shrieked and gaped. He placed the gun on her throat. The rogues were laughing with glee and were about to shout out and rejoice when suddenly their jaws dropped open. One by one the bones started rearranging themselves and the torn flesh slowly covered up the wound as if it was folding over itself. Within a few seconds the Fox King was brand new as if nothing had happened. Not even a spec of blood. As he slowly turned towards the rogue ones , his eyes began to blaze.

Fathia lifted her gaze from the edge of the cup she had just sipped. She gently placed the cup down, causing some of the contents to spill from the cup Clara had shouted into. Slowly, she rubbed Jess's arm to calm her down. Fathia knew that her friend was seething with anger over the behavior of the nine-tailed fox woman in front of them. "Have I not said thank you?" Eyes that were usually warm and comforting when looking at someone were now piercingly challenging. There was no wavering at all. "Ah, I forgot that your 'rescue' was carried out under orders."

SKY POV I was doing everything I could to help Knox handle Oxxy, but it felt like trying to put a band-aid on a gaping wound. Knox was beyond frustrated with himself for allowing Oxxy to see the fight and hear everything accidentally. After sending Oxxy to his room to gather his cars so they could play together on the porch, he paced the room. "I can't believe I let him see that, Sky," Knox muttered. "He's just a kid. Chase asked Florence, ignoring what Marx had said. “I…” She hesitated and finally let her know, “I would like to have a cheeseburger please, and some nuggets with large fries. Maybe a large cola. Thank you.” Chaos informed Marx of the order but doubled it. As soon as the call ended, Chaos just stared at her. “Is there something wrong, sir?” Florence asked.
