Why Is Amber Black In Invincible Novels & Stories

“But she was fine.” “She is fine.” Amber laughed. “She’s just excited that it healed so quickly.” “It did that,” Diane said. “I think she may have some of your blood in her too.” “Of course, she has,” Sam said. “Your mom means my Lycan blood,” Amber said, worry in her voice now. “Oh, is that possible?” Sam asked. She laid a hand on Addi’s head. “Could she be like Amber?” There was no worry in her voice.

He still maintained his youthful looks. " So the blood Alpha is your mate huh." He chuckled. " You are surprised how I know? While you are speechless." He continued, " Your son has Amber eyes, this color of eyes are special traits and could only come from Alpha blood family." He shook his head up and down.

Blacks and greys tend to be my go-to, probably because they reflect my mental state. Sanguidaes are seated all around the room keeping to their own devices, or at least they were until some jackass decided to throw one of the armchairs through one of the double glass doors. Amber is trying to calm Simon down, but he doesn’t seem to want to calm down. His blood-red irises are burning bright, and his razor-sharp teeth are on full display, the white of them practically glistening against his dark olive skin. His short curly black hair looks frazzled like he’s been yanking at it and his sharp, stubbled square jaw is ticking with tension.

Her breath came in broken, panicked sobs. “Rebel, please!” Amber cried. “PLEASE!” Rebel skidded to a halt, claws carving deep trenches through the ground. The force of her stopped momentum cracked the earth beneath Amber’s bare feet, shockwaves rippling outward. Still, Amber did not move. She shook like a leaf in a storm, but she stayed there—rooted, defiant in her surrender. Behind them, Elijah snarled, white power flaring instinctively as he stepped forward, every protective instinct screaming to tear Alex apart himself—

I opened the vial of amber serum and threw it directly into the center of the black reservoir. The reaction was violent. The amber liquid acted like a drop of holy water in a pit of acid. A golden light exploded outward, turning the black water back to silver in a searing wave of energy. The beetles caught in the wave shrieked and disintegrated, but a significant portion of the swarm had already disappeared into the vents. "They're heading for the triplets," Marcus shouted. We sprinted back up the stairs, my lungs burning, my mind racing. We reached the nursery wing just as the first black beetles began to emerge from the ornate silver grates in the ceiling.

And these time there is no different. You have to fight the serum, you have to my love. Those people are innocent. Fight it baby fight it. Emily tried to fight the serum but couldn't. Baby you can do, come let try this together again. Okay.

I couldn't see anything except the silhouette of a man. Tall. Broad shoulders. A frame that filled the entire doorway. He stepped inside. The light caught his face. And I saw his eyes. Amber. Not brown. Not gold. Amber—the kind that burned in sunlight, the kind that belonged to something wild, something untamed, something that had never been caged. He looked down at me. “Hmm.”

By the time they reached Mira's father's old pack, three days had passed and her hair had turned completely silver. Amber sparks occasionally erupted from her eyes whenever she concentrated on an object for too long. Her body strength, endurance and mental state of mind were not yet affected, and she counted every day as a blessing. They all stood to the side as two young women were being yanked by their bounded hands by two omegas. They pulled the hoods to their robes over their heads and they dipped their chins.

“What the hell are you talking about? She’s just a girl! You’ll get your money. Leave her out of this.” Without looking away from Mr. Smith, Mr. Black motioned casually to the girl who’d been lingering by the door, her nervous presence now noticeable. With a slight nod, Mr. Black gestured for her to leave. The girl didn’t hesitate, slipping out of the room without a word. When the door clicked shut, Mr. Black’s focus returned fully to Mr. Smith, his expression unreadable. “She’s not just a girl,” Mr. Black said, leaning forward just enough to make his words hit harder. “Amber is my revenge.”

Yuri wanted to explain everything to Amber, but she wasn't in the right frame of mind. Amber withdrew from Yuri and punched his chest in frustration. She looked at her side and then at him. “I was shot? Why don't I feel like I was shot?” Amber raised her shirt. “I helped you to heal, baby.” Yuri looked sheepish. “My blood has healing properties.” He confessed. Amber was reminded of the blood sample from the lab. While she didn’t understand the process, she was thankful for Yuri. Closing her eyes, Amber settled back on Yuri’s chest. “The assholes who kidnapped me, did you kill them all?”
