Only a Half Blood

Only a Half Blood

Aiden told her with a big cheesy grin on his face. “So, vampires, witches, warlocks… They are all real just hanging out minding their own business?” Alys asked before taking another bite of her dinner. “Yep, for the most part. Just like us. The Fae have their own world that links to ours through portals. A lot of fairytales stem from that. The whole Avalon and lady of the lake, those are myths told from partial truths of the Fae. They stick to their own world these days. Vampires will occasionally pick a fight with wolf packs but they generally stick to themselves as well. They have a council that keeps them under check. Warlocks and witches make their money off of the supernatural breeds, w

Dark Alpha Rising: Dreams and Nightmares

He bends down and presses our foreheads together, then gives me a quick kiss. My heart breaks watching him go through this. And before I can ask any questions about what I’m seeing, it fades out again. I drop the hand holding the mirror into my lap. “He’s not alone. He would be okay - with time,” the other woman says, not identifying herself. She has bright green eyes and hair so black it’s blue. “This is Fayre, Goddess of the Faeries,” Aurora fills me in. I nod my head to her. “Rachel, do you know how often we all get together?” Fayre asks me.

The Alpha’s Sanctuary: His Forbidden Mate

They started the next morning. I watched from a distance. I did not trust myself to be closer. The bond was screaming warnings but Lena had made her choice and I had to respect that even if I hated it. Kieran took her to the center of the ruins. The place where the artifact had been. Where reality was still slightly bent from everything that had happened there. "Witch magic is about intention and will," he said. "You decide what you want to happen and you force reality to comply through focus and power. Exhausting. Limited. Completely wrong for Fae."

"That is the sum total of my knowledge." Scarlet nodded. "Fae are an ancient race that-if their claims to relation to Chaos and Aether are true-have evolved well beyond the human race. They have inherent magic or powers. Many are tied to natural elements. Earth, wind, fire, water, spirit. Out of this general classification, there are too many to name for specifics. Categories and classes of Fae are better discussed with Arasne." Scarlet looked at me as if trying to see if I'd understood her.

You are meaningless to us. I said, "My mate and I have already secured alliances with the Fairies, and the Centaurs. We just started this yesterday. Not only that, but with us uniting, you may find that more of your Fae will find their true mates." Cedric said, "How do you know about our true mate bond?" I said, "It's no secret that werewolves were once Fae. We still have small amounts of magic. But we were sent to the Earth realm to watch over and protect the humans, with the other were species." Magus smiled, "She has certainly done her research." I said, "I have always wanted to work with the Fae and the Fairies. I have been training since I was old enough to stand. My mother started trai

Overall a very good plot. It goes through 3 generations of she-wolfs. The only issue I had is how it reads. There was some mishaps, but it happens. My main issue was reading during conversations, it just flows bad. Just needs a little work on your writing technique.

The Hidden Realm

The Hidden Realm

The cousins resembled a lot to their fathers. After a few minutes, Zanti arrived. He was with another three faeries. One of them looked familiar. Then recognized her as the faerie entertainer in Argia. Zanti brought the Wicilicians! They were the distinct faeries who could easily bring destructions using their voice, just by singing one high note along with incantations. “We are here to help our king to rescue Her Majesty.” said the one in the middle. The three arched down their heads. Airoh gave them a slight nod and smile.

“Oh, dearie. We’re werewolves. Of course they’re real. As are witches. Plus, your a goddess and Chris is a demi god. The only thing that we haven’t proven is real, yet, is ghosts. There are fae as well. They are very rare here, preferring to stay in their own realm, and very tricky. You must watch what you say to a Fae. You can never promise them something or ask them for a favor. If you ask for a favor, you most likely will not like their price.” I can feel my mouth hanging open with that mouthful of information. That’s a lot of information to process. “So, vampires are the likely suspect?” “Yes. The fae do not intervene like that. The witches leave a magical smell when it’s them and there

The Alpha's Key

The magic was close enough to be felt but far enough to be out of reach. To her, fae magic always seemed to be beyond her reach. Nari's shoulders deflated. How can she expect to master something so divergent to Wiccan magic? The two are poles apart from each other. Wiccan magic is placid and obedient, while fae magic is wild and untamed. Could she master something that the fae creatures deemed as a natural extension of their being? Without her realizing, she had taken the melody stone out and was clutching it in her hand. Her fingers unfolded and her gaze fell on the stone that lay in the palm of her hand.

Wolf Mountain (Book 2 A Wolf Affair Trilogy)

“It’s just not as powerful as fairy magic. When it comes to dealing with the supernatural, fairy magic reigns supreme.” “What about witches?” I asked. Godwin chuckled. “Witchcraft is drawn from two sources. One is the elemental or nature source, the other is darkness. Fairy magic is a gift from the creator. It is not drawn from a source. You are the source. There is nothing more powerful.” “So, the fact that my mother is also a werewolf and Kenton is a vampire weakens their magic abilities? Is that correct?” I asked.

Tulip gasped. “Oh no what? What do you think it is?” Aria asked Tulip. “We’ve seen something similar to this. It was when we were younger. Herb, do you remember?” Rowan said and asked. “You mean when Tulip got lost in the woods and Ricky found her?” Herb scoffed. “How could I forget? Mom and Dad nearly packed us all up and moved because of that Fae.” “Fae?” Aria asked. “Faeries are Fae; it’s more an all-encompassing term for a bunch of species. Faeries, Gnomes, Trolls, Elves, the list goes on.” Rose explained.

Frequently Asked Questions

The history of Wicca Faery traditions is a fascinating blend of folklore, spiritual revival, and modern magical practices. It's often traced back to the mid-20th century, when Wicca itself was being formalized by figures like Gerald Gardner. However, the Faery tradition draws heavily from older Celtic and European folk beliefs, particularly those involving the 'Good Neighbors' or the Fae. These beings were traditionally seen as intermediaries between the human world and the Otherworld, and their lore was deeply woven into rural life. What's interesting is how modern practitioners have reinterpreted these ancient ideas, merging them with Wiccan frameworks to create something uniquely vibrant.

The Faery tradition within Wicca really gained momentum thanks to figures like Victor Anderson and his wife Cora, who founded the Feri Tradition in the 1960s. Their approach emphasized direct communion with the Fae, ecstatic ritual, and a deeply personal relationship with divinity. Unlike some more structured Wiccan paths, Faery traditions often prioritize intuition and spontaneous connection over rigid ceremonial formats. This makes it feel incredibly alive—like you're stepping into a conversation that's been ongoing for centuries. I love how it honors the wild, untamed aspects of spirituality, something that sometimes gets polished away in more mainstream practices.

One of the most compelling aspects of Faery Wicca is its emphasis on the liminal—those in-between spaces where magic is said to thrive. Dawn and dusk, shorelines, doorways—these are all sacred in Faery work. It’s a tradition that doesn’t just acknowledge the unseen; it dances with it. Over time, splinter groups and solo practitioners have added their own twists, from blending it with other pagan paths to incorporating contemporary queer spirituality. That adaptability feels true to the Fae themselves, who’ve always been shapeshifters at heart.

What really draws me to this tradition is its refusal to be pinned down. It’s playful but profound, rooted in history but fiercely individualistic. Whether you’re leaving offerings for the Fae or working with their energy in ritual, there’s a sense of collaboration rather than control. After years of dabbling in various magical practices, I keep returning to Faery work because it feels less like a system and more like a relationship—messy, personal, and full of surprises.
