Snow's POV. The loud music that banged gave everyone present such energy that they danced a bit aggressively. Their screamed and their scents jammed my senses and all I did was to remian seated at a place as I kept watching them go bizarre. It was something beautiful to see but whatever made me this happy tonight was because I was expecting Hans Hobbs. I still had Lark in my head. And I couldn't just say why I couldn't get him off my head.

He channeled all his hopes and fears, his joy and pain into the haunting melody – a testament to their uncertain future. The doors slowly swung open, and a group of servants peeked their heads into the theater. The sound of music had drawn them in, and they were captivated by its beauty. Even though they had seen Antonio perform countless times, there was something different about his music today—a rawness, an openness that left them spellbound. They watched in silent awe as he allowed the magic of the piano to weave a story that echoed through the hallways of the palace and tugged at their hearts.

“A smile might convince me not to take my business elsewhere.” I smiled, not willingly, but because of the gold band on Georgia's finger, and glanced over at her husband in the middle of a chat with friends. What a sucker! I thought. “Anyway,” Georgia winked, walking away as she called. “Enjoy the show.” A strange pang of guilt hung in my throat for a moment, then the lights dimmed. Sensual music filled the air as curtains parted; four masked women began to dance in rhythm as everyone applauded. “It's the Vixens!” Someone called.

“That’s sad to hear, bro. It’s like creating something remarkable only to keep it yourself.” As I processed his reply, I heard something vibrating. I looked to my right and snatched my phone from the table. “Hmm… I gotta take this,” I muttered when I saw her name on the screen. I took the duct from the table. “There you go.” I silenced Toby with a piece of the tape and turned on the music player on the bottom compartment of the utility table and Queen’s Crazy Little Called Love started to fill the heavy air. He was a piece of work that I still couldn’t trust him not to scream no matter how fascinated he seemed with what was going on. He could still be playing me.

HE ended the musical piece into the note of a deep, hard, and hateful way, as HE took a deep gasp and calls upon the Mistress to whom is all along listening and observing HIM, for all and up until HIS very wrath subsides. “Are you done?” Asking in a mix of fearful and threatened tone where she never been, nor had before and not until now. HE who never shows his anger, yet play it all through a musical piece, and she who only witnesses it now gives her the death-like sentence and dread she cannot stand to bear with a straight face, but into a shivering fear.

I soak in her little smiles and laughs, and enjoy her glittering eyes as she takes in every detail she sees. The music shifts, switching to something I recognize from The Nutcracker, and the guests rise as Haven begins her walk down the aisle with Jack, but I still keep my eyes on Taryn. She watches Haven as she makes her way to Wes, and through the bond, I feel how she desires the same for herself.

"I'm in a classical music concert with your mum. Plus she'd made me watch wildlife documentation for three hours. The most boring of all." She sent a funny sticker of a girl, stabbing herself and won't die. Jade laughed hard at it and Mr. Tim joined the laughter. As if being tempered with, Jade turned a stern look at him, Me. Tim looked away, fearfully. Meanwhile, Sapphire was texting Jade messages by the corner, where she sat. Kate, along with her friends and their daughter-in-law we're listening to the classical music as if it had a lyrics or something. 'It's sound like a lullaby in my ears.'

The clubbers sitting were getting up from their seats one after the other to join those already on the dancefloor. “Are they good?” he asked. “Very good,” Ricky said with pride. “You should hear their lead singer.” Matt narrowed his eyes at the redhead in doubt. She looked more like she was scanning the crowd for a potential bed partner than she was eager to sing. But he believed Ricky and leaned back in his seat to listen. “Hold your man, hold your woman because you guys are about to witness the best musical foreplay ever!”

DAMON'S POV Well, that was absolutely not what I anticipated. What on earth did I just endure? I sat through a children’s musical filled with rainbow-colored trolls prancing around, farting glitter, and breaking into obnoxiously cheerful songs about sunshine and rainbows. It was an assault on my sanity. Dante, however, seemed far too amused for my liking. I, on the other hand, wanted to claw my own ears out. Kael sat there the entire time glaring at the screen, clearly not impressed in the slightest. But the girls? They were enchanted. I was surrounded by glitter, giggles, and squeals. This outing wasn’t meant for me—it was for my kid, and I was enduring it like a champ.

“Thank you for trusting me. I promise, everything will be alright.” I nod, throat tight. She takes my hand, leading me to sit on the edge of the bed. “Oh, I almost forgot.” There’s a flicker of something in her expression, excitement mixed with sadness. “I bought tickets for us. For Wicked. The musical. It’s showing at the Orpheum tomorrow night.” My chest constricts. “Elena—” “I know, I know. The timing is terrible with everything going on.” She squeezes my hand. “But I miss you, Dominic. I miss spending time with you. Just the two of us. Like we used to.” Her voice cracks slightly. “Before everything became so… complicated.”
