The Mourner's Cradle: A Widow’s Journey

The Mourner's Cradle: A Widow’s Journey

The strap of the duffel bag? The distraction cost her a valuable second. Vince’s free hand grabbed her wrist and twisted it. Anne clenched her teeth, her eyes watering with the pain. She rammed her head into his face. Javier held his rifle poised for a shot, but he couldn’t fire without hitting Vince. Vince and Anne slid in a flurry of snow dust. Both tumbled down the frozen slant. Keller backpedaled from their whirling path. “Javier!” Keller shouted. “Shoot her!”

Rising From the Ashes

Rising From the Ashes

He was positioned on a building over the road and was an expert sniper. “Yeah, she seems happier the last few days, I am hoping she has finally left her abusive husband”. “Don’t know man she still wears the ring on her finger” I was shocked, I had not even noticed. I suppose that’s why he was the sniper, he noticed all the small details. Suddenly she came back outside and handed me a coffee. “Can’t have you falling asleep on the job”.

Rival Mafia’s Matrimony

Rival Mafia’s Matrimony

“You do realise that my wife will kill you if you hurt Becca, right?” Owen nods. “She’s made that perfectly clear, but I have you.” I can’t believe this guy! “And you think I will ever help you against my wife?” “Nope, but she loves you. You must just be there for me to use you as a shield.” Hunter shakes his head in disbelief. He knows how ridiculous this sounds. “She’s shot me, trice!” I remind him of how volatile my wife is. “Those were all non-fatal. We both know that she is a trained sniper yet you are still here,” Owen says dismissively.

The Last Dict Standing

The Last Dict Standing

Everything was an accident and a misunderstanding, but I couldn't tell them because they were too startled to grasp what they were seeing. "She is known as the “Widow Maker” because she never failed to kill her target. You just killed one of the most notorious assassins on Bendoveh Island."

The mafia’s captive

The mafia’s captive

Lagos was chaos wrapped in heat. The markets never slept, the air smelled of diesel and spice, and somewhere in that crowded sprawl of life and death was a woman known only as The Widowmaker. Viktor moved like a shadow. His presence in the city was unannounced, unregistered. That was how he operated—off the grid, invisible. The kind of man who made even devils hold their breath. He’d tracked her for three days. She was elusive, cunning, and always one step ahead. But this morning, she slipped. A black Range Rover. An informant. A false trail that led her into the waiting arms of the one man she shouldn’t have crossed paths with.

The Widow’s Blood Debt

The Widow’s Blood Debt

"The security droids are idling. The loop is holding, but the core processor is starting to purge the memory. You have three minutes before the house wakes up." "I don't need three minutes," Dante replied. I heard the muffled thud of a flash-bang from the floor above, followed by the rhythmic, clinical pop-pop of his suppressed .45s. He wasn't auditing; he was clearing the ledger. I reached the server vault a chamber of pulsing crimson light that looked like the interior of a heart. And there, sitting in a high-backed chair of spun glass, was the discrepancy I had been hunting. The Widow. She didn't look like a ghost. She looked like a queen in exile. Her hair was a shock of silver, pulled b

The Billionaire’s Cherry Red Obsession

The Billionaire’s Cherry Red Obsession

"The 'mentally unstable' Adrian Knight and his 'murderer' wife just executed a private medical staff in a licensed state facility. You aren't corporate heirs anymore, children. You are domestic terrorists. And the court will hand me total custody of the boy before the sun clears the horizon." Before I could lift my weapon—before the "Savage" in Elara could lunge across the space—the high glass windows of the apartment shattered into a thousand jagged shards as the blinding, red laser sights of a dozen federal sniper units pinned our chests to the wall. The trap had closed completely. And Silas had just stolen the sky.

The Widow's Harem

The Widow's Harem

I had played it before a handful of times, but I wasn't that good at it. "Jesus, stop trying to snipe me woman!" Riley's character was zig-zagging and jumping around, trying to avoid my sporadic shooting. When he was out of reach, I left my perch and went in pursuit of him. It was time to sh*t or get off the pot. Once Riley realized what I was doing, he turned his character around. We had an all-out mini-war and I came out the victor. "You're pretty good at this," Victor complimented.

Ex Wife’s Revenge

Ex Wife’s Revenge

I replied, flashing her my signature smile. Silence settled in. “Did you happen to get married to a rich old man who died, leaving you with all his wealth?” Vivian spoke, breaking the silence. This was the first word she had uttered, and she sounded so pathetic. “Vivian,” Ryan cautioned, his voice barely above a whisper. “You are thinking the same; might as well just let it out,” she replied with an eye roll. I could see her eyes twitching, her plump lips about to burst out in flames.

EX-WIFE'S REVENGE

EX-WIFE'S REVENGE

I said, pointing my gun directly at Astrid, “I’ll send you off now. Goodbye.” I pulled the trigger. There was a loud, resounding crack as the bullet tore into the wall just above Astrid’s head, shattering the TV behind him. He flinched, hands trembling as he toppled from his wheelchair, his face pressed to the floor, the pungent smell of his fear filling the air as he lay there, pants soaked. “Disgusting,” I sneered, lowering my gun as my gaze swept over them.
