Wild Bill From Green Mile Novels & Stories

0:06. Miles looks up, seeing a small opening just then. It’s the tiniest, but he still pulls his stick back. I raise my phone. And Miles shoots.

MAVERICK I bounded into the woods, with Alec barely holding on to me. The night had come upon us, moonless and sudden. I knew that we were being chased, so I pushed my linbs harder, I made every leap I took higher and further than the last, and I didn’t look back, not even for a millisecond. I unleashed a howl, and hoped that the rest of my packmates would find their way here before Makila did. The ground shook beneath me, and I leaped to the side just mere moments before the earth collapsed inward, forming a deep hole in the ground large enough to swallow me, even in this form.

Didn't they have wolf hearing? Jax and Liam both leapt from the third story railing. Their bodies flew through the air as if they could magically glide in the wind. Jax threw himself on me, bringing us both to the floor. Liam leapt at my father, but was hit with a powerful clear light mid-air and made him tumble to the ground. My body heated in anger. Jax quickly backed up as my body began filling with white magic. "Do not harm them and release my friends. Now!" I ordered Mildred.

Unable to take anymore, he gave up the rest in God’s hands. On the other side, Nile was planning to play on his own. He wasn’t ready to give up so soon after crossing the difficulties of the past years. So he held the pointed gun and said, “Shoot ahead! I don’t care..” His hands were shaking, yet he wasn’t ready to let go. Howard suddenly relaxed his grip, releasing the trigger and taking the gun away, “What proof do ya have?” “If you’re the real Howard Dixon, then you must have a locket of white gold”, Nile confidently replied.

It was response. The Seed had cracked. She’d felt it tear like skin stretched too far. A scream across the tether that still connected them all—Lucas, Clara, Drift. Even the forest responded. The roots around her shivered. Hollow Hill moaned like a living thing. Emily turned her head slowly toward the passage beyond the alcove, where the oldest tree in WildWood still grew—dead in bark, yet alive in spirit. From within its hollow, the whispers had returned. But this time, they wept.

The mist curled low between the trees, it was foggy, swallowing the world in silence. Irvine tried to breathe it in, let the calm settle her, but something about the woods made her restless. Every rustle, every snap of a twig, they rang louder than it should. Her ears caught sounds farther away than possible: the flutter of birds high inthe sky, the tiny footsteps of a rabbit beneath roots. Her senses were sharper, too sharp. Garrick dismounted first, tying his harnesses to a branch with practiced ease. “The tracks will be fresher deeper in,” he murmured, his tone low but hungry. “Stay close.”

He crashed out of the bushes, ready to hunt down whoever had Just seen the wanton display Annie had made of herself, And when he found the guy, he would convince him to for get every detail. Limb by broken, bloody limb. Annie stood up in the water. "Jacob, I think it's just a-" "Get the hell back down into that water!" His voice cracked like a whip. Annie sank instantly into the pool, her eyes huge and startled. A doe leaped out of the bushes. She froze, and stared at him with enormous, fathomless dark eyes before she gathered herself and bounded away, feather-light and graceful.

Suddenly, his head snapped up. His nostrils flared. “They found you.” Mira’s eyes widened. “What?” Grey was already rising. “Ghost Howlers?” “No,” the seer said. “Something worse.” Outside, the earth trembled. And from deep in the woods, a sound split the air. Not a howl. A scream. High-pitched. Twisted. Familiar. Liam’s face went pale. “That’s not possible.” “What?” Mira asked. His voice shook.

Wilder asked, "no, I'm going to pet it" "No come on not with the broom" he sighed about to walk towards him but Malik started to scream. "ITS UNDER THE OTHER COUCH!!" He jumped on Wilder’s back. 'Not again!' Wilder sighed knowing the drill of what to do. He wrapped his hands under his thighs so he wouldn't fall. "KILL IT KILL IT!!" Miles shouted pointing at it. 'Poor rat, it's probably more terrified than them' 'God! How does he hold me so easily? And why isn't he startled ?"
