Rain Over Wyndmere

Rain Over Wyndmere

It was the kind of treasure that could feed the hungry, clothe the cold and give people a life worth living. Moonlight poured through the window and fell across the page, clean and bright. … Meanwhile, a thousand miles away, in Wyndmere, Corinne sat by the window of a waterfront guesthouse, her fingers tracing the side of a glass without thinking. The tea inside had long gone cold, much like the odd, sinking feeling in her chest that she could not quite explain. Outside the window lay whitewashed stone walls, arched footbridges and still canals. It was beautiful enough to look like a painting left out in the rain.

Homecoming tales; Beauty in imperfection

Homecoming tales; Beauty in imperfection

Exhausted from his long trip, Max was excited to get out and run. Les pulled up to the entrance of Morrison Farms and looked at the battered sign swinging on one hinge from the craved post. A lump rose in his throat but there was nothing a few nails, new hinges, and some paint couldn't do and it would be good as new. Les ascend a steep hill lined with ancient fragrant evergreens, their massive trunks covered in dark green moss. At the top of the hill, Les parked his BMW Z4 and got out of the car to look down at the valley full of every kind of evergreen imaginable. He saw the Douglas first, the blue spruce field, and to the left of that, the long-needle Scotch pine.

Temptations of an Alpha

Temptations of an Alpha

I looked around the Grass Lawn and my heart broke on what just happened at the beautiful nature in the middle of nowhere. It was gone— it was all gone. I couldn't even see any hint of green colour. It was all dull, black, ang gray. The aftermath was heartbreaking. The paradise was gone and Percy transformed it into hell. The trees turned into ashes, there was really nothing left. Even the facility, the first building, had obviously been damaged by Percy. We were in the middle of nowhere but ashes, swords with blood on the floor, and excess woods on the ground.

Never Reject A Secret Luna Heiress

Never Reject A Secret Luna Heiress

“Alpha Percy ordered that his location be kept hidden.” “I know,” I said. “But I am here now. Take me to him.” He looked at Dr. Virel, then back at me. “He may be angry.” “Let him be angry,” I said. “I’m already angry too.” Percy’s Beta lowered his head after a short pause. “This way.” He drove us through a narrow road leading toward the old district of Blackridge. The buildings there were quiet, and guards watched from the corners. No one spoke much during the ride.

The Billionaire Daddies

The man couldn't sound hotter in my ear. "Green, Sir." Percy was right, the burn was licking my back, making me sensually dizzy rather than inducing a hot scorching burn to my skin. And it makes me actually moan the second he cools me off with an ice cube. "Safeword," he demanded once again. "Green, so green, my Sir,"

BEG FOR ME, BILLIONAIRE

BEG FOR ME, BILLIONAIRE

"There is a car on the main street that does not belong here. Pale silver. The kind that thinks it's better than us." I went to the window. She was right. It was parked outside the bed and breakfast at the far end, long and silver and completely wrong against the ordinary Tuesday morning of Maplewood Hollow, the way all the wrong things in my life had arrived looking expensive. I went back to work. By noon the town had done what it always did. Noticed. Talked. Circled. Mrs Percival texted at eleven thirty. She has platinum hair and an attitude. Do you know her.

*Greenwood Territory — The Deepgroves* The wind that blew heavily through Greenwood. Crystal stood at the edge of the grove, her fingers brushing the bark of an old tree. Her mark still pulsed faintly, silver light dancing under her skin. The forest felt closer now, like it breathed with her. Behind her, Ryder spoke with Veen in low tones. His voice was gravel and steel, the sound of a leader holding too much and refusing to bend beneath it. Crystal turned slightly to watch him.

This book has incorporated a whole lot, from werewolf element, war, the tension and emotions. I like the fact it doesn't have much intimacy which is suitable to read. The weeping valley part and Queen Elira's reveal has gone over my head again and again. I love this book and it is highly recommended

The writing is lyrical and there is a thing to the description that makes quiet moments feel emotional. I cried during the bond ceremony and that mating bond is chef kiss. Beautiful without being overly erotic, just enough to stir the heart. Looking forward to more of your books

And even though I couldn't see it, my eyes were glowing a bright shade of blue! I smiled to myself. This was what my mother meant by understanding a spell. My gaze darted to the Prowlers Pack. Even though it looked so far, the new wave of adrenaline coursing through my body made it look easy. Rather than running through branches and across the tarred roads of Prowlers Pack, I preferred to act like lightning itself. So I picked pace, with each step causing a gentle tremor. Without further thoughts, I jumped. High into the skies, where I could see the Prowlers Pack and its tiny inhabitants. The winds stormed against my body, I could feel the taste of wet air salivating my tongue, and my eyes s

THE NIGHTMARE OF GREENWOOD CITY

THE NIGHTMARE OF GREENWOOD CITY

The urgency of the situation weighed heavily on their minds, as they raced against the clock to bring this escalating situation under control. Every citizen of Greenwood was informed to remain indoors for the rest of the night to ensure their safety. As Detective Sophia and other officers approached the crime scene, they were met with a chaotic and unsettling scene. The area was littered with signs of a struggle, with broken branches and torn foliage scattered about. The ground was stained with splashes of blood, and the air was heavy with the scent of fear. The officers, trained to maintain their composure in even the most difficult of circumstances, took in the scene with a sense of detach

Frequently Asked Questions

The Green Mile' has such a rich cast of characters that it's hard not to get emotionally invested in them. Paul Edgecombe is the heart of the story—a prison guard on death row who narrates the tale with this weary but compassionate voice that sticks with you. Then there's John Coffey, the gentle giant with a miraculous gift, whose innocence and suffering make him one of the most tragic figures in fiction. Percy Wetmore is the guy you love to hate, a sadistic guard who embodies pure pettiness. And how could I forget Eduard Delacroix, the doomed inmate with his little mouse, Mr. Jingles? The relationships between these characters, especially Paul and John, are what make the story so haunting. It's one of those rare stories where even the 'villains' feel fully human, flaws and all.

On the flip side, you've got Brutus 'Brutal' Howell, the kind of guard who balances Percy's cruelty with decency, and Jan Edgecombe, Paul's wife, who adds this layer of warmth outside the prison walls. Even minor characters like Hal Moores, the warden, or Wild Bill Wharton, the unhinged inmate, leave an impression. What I love about King's writing is how he makes you care about everyone, even the ones who only show up for a few pages. The way their lives intertwine on the Green Mile—it's like watching a slow-motion train wreck where you can't look away, but you also don't want it to end.
