he begged, his voice cracking.
I brought the flame close to his skin, the heat causing him to thrash against his restraints. His screams filled the air, but they only fueled my rage. I focused the flame on his arm, watching as the skin blistered and peeled away. He writhed in agony, his cries echoing in the pit, but I didn't let up. Not for a second.
"You like to hurt people, don't you?" I growled, moving the torch to his chest. "You think you're tough? Let's see how tough you are now."
