The rest of the night was a whirlwind of laughter and movement. They took the obligatory group photos—Jace looking hilariously stoic while the girls made goofy faces—and ate far too much sugar. They watched the crowning of the prom king and queen, cheering along with the crowd. As the final song began to play, a slow tune, Jace led Naomi back to the floor.
