Descent

Descent

There was a hint of pride in his voice but Proserpina can feel nothing… only the weight of overwhelming grief, just as thousands of other souls had before her when the god of the underworld planted a kiss on her forehead. “…And dearest daughter of mine, you shall forever be nothing more than which you ruled.” . . . “One short sleep past, we wake eternally And death shall be no more; Death, thou shalt die.” –John Donne

When The Bully Falls in Love

When The Bully Falls in Love

he kissed her twice and said “Clasp me close in your warm young arms, while the pale stars shine above, and we’ll live our whole young lives away in the joys of loving love. You are mine and always will be mine” Emelda caught one popular line that made her day and sweetened her heart; she was lost in the euphoria and attributed the line to Shakespeare. “If equal affection cannot be, let the more loving be me” No. She just remembered and snapped her hands in disagreement. It was W.H Auden; Shakespeare didn’t write in that style as far as she could remember. The line dug deeper into her mind, taking up all parts of her brain: “If equal affection cannot be, let the more loving be me”

Captive Of The Count

Captive Of The Count

He raised a brow collecting the roses and bringing them up to his nose to smell their fragrance. "You have got marbles for brains, you aren't intellectually capable enough to comprehend my genius sonnet." "A sonnet?" He gave me the are you serious look. "Shakespeare would be jealous." I turned up my chin feeling proud about my poem. "I'd rather listen to owls hooting than hear you recite another sonnet " "How do I divorce you?" "If you can compose a sonnet" "I am not interested in talking to you anymore." "Swans perhaps? Please don't recite any sonnets to them, don't traumatize the poor birds."

Love this book! Will their be a book 3 in this series? I sure hope to find out how things will continue to work out for all the characters (I don’t want to give details so not to spoil things for new readers)

This book is a sequel to “The Alpha King’s Rejected Mate” and should be read after the first book. Plot was very interesting and the enemies to lovers vibe was super intense! The book could use proofreading, but overall a great story with a HEA! :)

Average Jane |Lesbian Story|

Average Jane |Lesbian Story|

Mary whispered wickedly to her. This time Jane held the phone firmly so that Mary couldn't snatch it back. 'To Jane I will love thee in the winter, When the ice and snow lie deep. I will love thee in the spring, When the budding willows weep. I will love thee in the summer, When the sun burns hot and bold. I will love thee in the fall, When the aspen leaves turn gold. I will love thee all year long. Love eternal is my song.' One season of love from Lucy was terrible enough. Her eternal love was something no one could be expected to bear. Lucy needed to stop writing all these crazy love poems!

TRAPPED BY THE BILLIONAIRE CEO

TRAPPED BY THE BILLIONAIRE CEO

Daphne took the time to glance at the enjoyable expression on her face, and asked: "Are you still going thinking about your sister..." .... .... .... Ah, love, let us be true To one another! for the world, which seems To lie before us like a land of dreams, So various, so beautiful, so new, Hath really neither joy, nor love, nor light, Nor certitude, nor peace, nor help for pain; And we are here as on a darkling plain Swept with confused alarms of struggle and flight, Where ignorant armies clash by night. She walks in beauty, like the night

 The Better Place

The Better Place

He stared straight into her eyes as he spoke out those words. As he spoke, he couldn't help but remember one, Shakespearean Verse he saw in a book. It says... My bounty is as boundless as the sea, My love as deep. The more I give to the more I have, for both are infinite. There was also another verse from the same writer that struck him and made him realize a lot. It says... Doubt thou the stars are fine, Doubt that the sun doth move, Doubt truth to be a liar,

The Search for Freedom

The Search for Freedom

As a result, I recalled a poem told to me by teacher Jayne and written by the great poet William Shakespeare. "He was thy friend, and he would assist thee in thy need. If you were sad, he would weep. If you awakened him, he would be unable to sleep. Thus, of every grief in your heart, he would bear a part. Those were certain signs to know a faithful friend from a flattering foe."

Melanin Diaries: Perfectly Imperfect

Melanin Diaries: Perfectly Imperfect

The poem went this way, Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there; I did not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sun on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uprising rush Oh quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there; I did not die.

, Kevin says. "Oh Romeo, Romeo. Why aren't here, Romeo? Deny the father and reuse the name; or if that will not swear to be love, and I'll no longer be Capulet.", I whisper, then continue, "This is the name of my enemy. This art itself, though not a Montague. What's a Montague? It's neither hand, nor foot, nor arm, nor face, nor any other part belonging to a man. Oh, to be some other name! What's in a name? That which we call a rose, by another name, would smell as sweet. So Romeo would- were he not Romeo called- retain that dear perfection which he owns without that title. Romeo, remove the name, and for that name, which is no part of these, take all myself.", I say with passion.

Abnormally Normal

Abnormally Normal

And if you liked those poetries I posted and searched for days and night (I just googled it but what the heck) Here are is one I found you'll really love Fragment of a Ballad by Elizabeth Siddal Many a mile over land and sea Unsummoned my love returned to me; I remember not the words he said But only the trees moaning overhead. And he came ready to take and bear The cross I had carried for many a year, But words came slowly one by one From frozen lips shut still and dumb. How sounded my words so still and slow To the great strong heart that loved me so, Who came to save me from pain and wrong And to comfort me with his love so strong? I felt the wind strike chill and cold And vapours rise fr

Just need to be edited, overall I love it, it has it's originality, it's start like some crazy sitcom and ends up having this climax, my favourite character has to be Goblin, I like how you portrayed his character, he's someone who was hurt because of the werewolves and vampires issues, overall nice
