Miranda sat on the counter with a noseful of syrup and a sticky grin plastered on her face. "These are my two trouble makers," I teased, entering the kitchen. Miranda jumped off her stool and ran to throw her arms around me. “Mommy! Daddy made a bunny pancake!” "I tried to," Raymond said in forced defensiveness. "Someone was eating the ears even before I got a chance to flip them." "I was just tasting!" Miranda laughed and leaned forward to whisper something in my ear, "He added blueberries to them because you prefer those." I felt my heart swell, I was so happy I started feeling butterflies in my belly.

"Lily, is the blueberry sweet?" Lillian blinked her big eyes and reached out to grab a small blueberry before bringing it to Fabian's mouth. Fabian understood and smiled as he lowered his head to eat the blueberry she offered. For some reason, the sour blueberry tasted sweet. Only Fabian knew why it tasted sweet. Evan looked at the heartwarming scene and plopped down beside Fabian. "Fab, are you telling me that Miss Charles isn’t the woman you have a crush on?"

When we were done, Boris came into my room and handed me a packet of sweets. They were my favorites but they were a flavor I had never seen before. I loved the blueberry flavor mixed with mango. It was an odd combination that didn't exist–except, the sweets were exactly that flavor. "Where did you get these?" I asked Boris. "Pakhan asked me to give them to you." "But this flavor doesn't exist…" Boris shrugged his shoulders. He was a man who minded his business. I doubted he would tell me anything about Milo if I asked.

Eleana stared at him, unable to respond for a while. "What is it? What is it? Tell me fast." Savannah came running excitedly towards Ayden and Eleana's side as Ayden held a small piece of cake in his hand. He looked at her in confusion. "What?" Ayden asked, still not getting what she was saying. "The cake. What colour is it inside?" Savannah asked while trying to look for herself. Ayden was about to answer her when Eleana cut him off. "It's blue." She replied softly with a smile. Savannah's eyes went wide as she stared at the blue cake. Ayden also looked at the piece of cake in his hand. It was blue. But what was all the fuss about? He still didn't get it.

"Careful it's hot." He warned before getting himself a bowl. Twillow looked at the cream-colored mush adorned with blueberry pieces; steam wafted off of the huge portion. It smelled nice.

Willy froze, he felt the hairs on his arms stand as he felt cold chills run up his spine, The culture tube was still in his long pants’ pocket. He went over slowly fearing the worst, he opened the wardrobe door and fiddled through the long pants searching for the pocket. Willy reached into his pants pocket and pulled out the culture tube. But it was empty! Its lid was gone! sort of melted away on its own— and there were traces of blue powder. Than it hit him hard like a freight train! “Wendy! No– what have I done?!” Willy uttered in great disbelief, then he felt a deep seated anger.

The blue matches his eyes. “Let us show them.” We cook. Team. I mix the batter. Eggs. Milk. Flour. Vanilla. Fluffy. Perfect. He heats the pan. Butter. Sizzle. Golden. I flip. High. Catch. Lila claps. “Again!” she says. Zephyr makes compote. Berries in pot. Blueberries. Strawberries. Sugar. Lemon zest. Boil. Thick. Red. Shiny. Smells sweet. “Taste,” he says.

As if he would ever give any kind of serious thought to any one human for any other reason than sustenance he required from them. "I want to play beer pong, let's go take a number Suze!" Violet was ready to party in every sense of the word and beer pong was one of her favorite ways to get down. She dragged Suzie along towards the keg for a third refill, Suzie was busy searching for Darren, though she would never admit how much she really liked him, or the fact that she put on those stilettos cause she knew he loved them on her.
