She could feel the worms wriggling in her heart, the squirming of the worms made her stomach queasy. “And I won’t trade the truth for fear.” The wind snaps hard, tearing the paper from my fingers before I can react. It spins once in the air. And starts to fall, straight toward the cliff’s edge.
