Yet again, none responded to him. "Nevea, love, hang in there. I'll take you out." He scooped her body, carrying her in a bridal style. The moment he spun around, a big frame on the first floor made his breath stuck in his throat. "Wings." Inside the frame were beautiful white wings. It blended perfectly with the rest of the wall decoration that he completely missed the first time he saw it. As if everything wasn't enough, fire ate the wings away.
