Wings Of Fire Rainwing Novels & Stories

Arabella whispered, her voice quivering. To her astonishment, she observed the metal bars starting to dissolve as she clutched them with her hands. With caution, she eased herself out of the cage, an overwhelming warmth coursing through her veins. The heat within her intensified, her gaze drawn inexorably to the flames dancing around her. Then, as if by some enchantment, the fires surged forth with intensity, as if the ancient power of the Phoenix spirit had ignited within her. Turning slowly, Arabella fixed her eyes on the two majestic wings—flaming red and shimmering gold. Her heart raced as the realization struck her: she possessed the ability to manifest wings, just like Orga.

Their focus was entirely on their battle, leaving no room to consider their surroundings. Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh... The terrifying sounds of air being split reverberated from afar, mingling with the thunderous clashes of their attacks. Boom! Swish! The violent vibrations shook the sky and earth, creating a scene of sheer horror. The wings of the Violet Rain Bird were nearly shattered, yet it continued to relentlessly assault the Ivy Electro Serpent, refusing to yield. For the Violet Rain Bird, its wings were its lifeline. They represented its very essence, and if they were to break, it would be a catastrophic loss.

The plan began and the Scions dispersed. With no one on his back anymore, Vayu could unleash the true prominence of his flames. His firebird form turned into full - fledged phoenix, having nine long rainbow tail feathers that each were flames of different colors. The burning wings flapped off fiery plumes to the Grand Serpent's barrier and his serpentine silver eyes were locked on him.

I nodded and swallowed hard. “Now retrieve your wings, honey.” “What wings? I have wings!” My eyes nearly popped out of each socket. My heart pounded so hard in my rib cage, and I instantly felt the air pulsing around us. I didn’t want to look behind me over my shoulder. I was scared for it to be true. “You’re not helping, Sebastien,” Zarah said cautiously. “Not wings like physical wings. They’re glowing, like 3D lights, the same as when you summoned the fire, but yes, you have wings,” Ren tried to explain but I completely understood what he meant.

He stared at me for a long while before getting back up on his feet. A loud crack of thunder was heard outside the hut. The sky continued to rumble with thunder as we gazed greedily and lustfully at each other. … Neither one of us told anyone about our rendezvous in the hut that night. However, we had a nightly ritual now before going to bed every night. The chat window with my second number had now become a place for us to reveal our deepest, darkest desires. We kept video calling each other in secret at night as we vented out our school stress and turned it into sexual pleasure.

Me—still armored, still buzzing with magic not entirely my own. “I think it’s dead,” I said, breathing hard. “Let’s make sure,” Rhett said, shifting back and raising his hand. Rhet started a fire with flint and spread it to the creature’s fur. We burned the demon’s corpse to ash. The scent was foul, and the flames howled with something that almost sounded like a voice, screeching as it vanished into smoke. And then it was over. For now. I looked at my sister. She looked back. Twins. Warriors. Bound by blood—and now, by something even deeper.

I fell into fire. The dream came like a memory already half-lived. Seraphine stood at the center of a battlefield wreathed in flame. Her silver-scaled armor gleamed beneath a burning sky as fire rained from above, dragons screaming through the clouds like living storms. Her wings were not feathered but woven of light and molten gold, veined like stained glass as they unfolded with a snap that split the world in two. Her eyes, my eyes, burned like suns. Around her, shadows moved—soldiers and traitors, blood and ash, all blurring into one. She screamed a name I couldn’t understand, and the magic answered. The ground cracked. The heavens opened. And still she stood. I watched her fall. Not in d

Sera cried, voice breaking, silver sparks spraying helplessly from her trembling fingers. But Damien was already there. His wings beat once, hard and the sky ignited. He dropped like a meteor, claws outstretched, and smashed into the fox with earth-splitting force. Fire roared from his jaws, engulfing three of the tails in a burning inferno. The stench of scorched fur and sulfur filled the air.

His wings spread wide, feathers shimmering like liquid gold, ready to defend the innocent and uphold the balance of the realms. Flame curled around Wrath's frame, a living, breathing entity that danced and flickered with his every movement. The inferno cast eerie shadows, highlighting the sharp angles of his face and the fierce determination in his molten eyes. His power was raw, untamed, a force of nature that refused to be contained or controlled.

His wings were fading from the deep black raven color to pale gray with streaks of white on it. "What the fuck happened." Rain finally voiced his words. "The crawlers, I think he was poisoned..."
