Wingless and Beautiful

Wingless and Beautiful

Uzziel – an angel whose name means "the strength of God." The following week, I worked with the local band that Denise hired to perform at the concert. They’re called ‘Dark Rose’. I was quite happy because Dominic, the guy I used to work with at Strung, was part of it. “I have missed you, girl!” he greeted me with a hug. “You too!” I hugged him back. I heard Chaise coughing behind me, forcing me to pull away from Dominic’s embrace.

Beautiful love story, one of the most unique plots I’ve read so far with. Very touching & emotional but still realistic. Also it’s rare plotpoint that Hero & heroine are each other’s firsts. Technically well-written - no grammatical errors! Wish there were more Hero’s POV, but loved it anyway.

Wow, truly beautiful story. Started out fast and kept improving. Cried a lot in the beginning (had to pause until I calmed down). Also, laughed at times. The characters were very mature and I’m glad Hunter and Alice were able to overcome the trauma in their lives. Well written. Worth reading.

The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

Their bodies, which were more than ten meters long, looked particularly shocking and horrible. "It's actually the Firewing Lion!" Almost all the disciples of The Boundless Academy changed their faces the moment they saw the giant creature. Among them, more than a dozen Firewing Lions were flying. They flapped their huge wings, bringing with them a scorching hot aura. Although the Firewing Lion was not a kind of fierce beast, it was much stronger than the Six-winged Skywind Beast. It was said that the Firewing Lion had the bloodline of some kind of divine fire beast. Therefore, it could swallow flames, which was extremely horrible.

Santana Sylvester
Enjoying the book tremendously, the characters names and even the tone of the author changed in the last 1/3 of the book was a bit confusing but was able to adjust to the changes the plot is definitely engaging and keeps you pushing to see how it all plays out for Zepher but it seem to abruptly?

She is My Hope

She is My Hope

"I would never let you die." Hope whispered to me. Then she let go of me and stood beside me with a corner smile, confident, she made a simple motion with her hand and that reddish shape spread further, like wings, but not just any wings, they were Dragon wings. As the wings passed through the shadows and places a bluish flame appeared and began to burn everything that wasn't solid. I could tell the shadows were writhing and screaming, they were screams of agony as they were consumed, the runes of protection disappeared and the magic that was in the place dissipated, but these flames didn't hit us, it was as if the people who were with me were immune to them.

The Immortal Emperor Returns

The Immortal Emperor Returns

With a flap of his wings, a terrible gust of wind blew in the starry sky and rolled back the red flames all over the sky. "Flaming Qilin, are you going to start a war?" The Immortal Master of the Winged race looked at Flaming Qilin coldly. "So what if I want to start a war?" Flaming Qilin's eyes were red, and he was full of killing intent. "You birdman, I'll kill you and roast you." Flaming Qilin raised his hand. His Red Flame Qi swept out, like several fire dragons, rushing toward the Immortal Master of the Winged race.

Rain’s Fire

Rain’s Fire

stop him as he took off flying high above the mansion. The three of us took off after him and circled around him to try and keep him from breathing fire. I mind linked Bo and told him if he got the chance to restrain Willix that he needed to take it and ground him as quick as possible to minimize the damage he was causing. Orange fire rained down and soon we were headed towards Jadeville. I knew my mate was still there trying to save as many people as he could. Bo and Caroline flanked Willix at the last minute and pushed him away from the town. Reya flew in front of him to try and stop the fire storm he was spraying over the land. I knew it was a risky move but I also knew that his fire was

Nurse Nancy’s Point of View The fire ten years ago destroyed more than just a building , it ruined lives. But in its smoke, I found light. I became a mother to two angels: Primrose and Jane. Their cries in that inferno led me to them, and I have never looked back . I loved them from the moment I held them in my arms. I did not change their names. Somehow, I felt it would be wrong. They were named after their grandmother—Jackson’s mother. Primrose bears her first name, and Jane her middle name . Strange how fate works. Frequently Asked Questions

The 'Wings of Fire' series by Tui T. Sutherland is packed with vibrant characters, each belonging to different dragon tribes with unique abilities and personalities. The first arc follows five dragonets destined to end a war, known as the Dragonets of Destiny. Clay, a MudWing, is the heart of the group, big and kind but often doubting himself. Tsunami, a SeaWing, is fierce and protective, always ready for a fight. Glory, a RainWing, starts off underestimated but proves to be clever and resilient. Starflight, a NightWing, is bookish and anxious but deeply loyal. Sunny, a SandWing, is small and optimistic, with a mysterious heritage that plays a big role later.

The second arc shifts focus to new characters, like Moonwatcher, a NightWing with mind-reading powers who struggles with her abilities. Qibli, a clever and resourceful SandWing, becomes a key player with his quick thinking. Winter, an IceWing, is proud and initially cold but grows significantly. Turtle, a SeaWing, is shy but possesses hidden strengths. The third arc introduces even more dragons, such as Blue, a gentle SilkWing caught in a rebellion, and Cricket, a curious HiveWing who challenges the status quo. Each character brings something special to the story, making the series rich with diverse perspectives and growth.

Beyond the main protagonists, the series features memorable antagonists and side characters. Queen Scarlet, the cruel SkyWing, stands out as a terrifying villain. Darkstalker, an ancient NightWing with overwhelming power, is complex and chilling. Supporting characters like Kinkajou, a bubbly RainWing, and Peril, a fiery SkyWing with a deadly touch, add depth and heart. The way Sutherland develops these characters over multiple arcs makes the world feel alive and interconnected. Whether hero or villain, every dragon has a role that shapes the story in meaningful ways.
