They hit the jagged rocks and the skeletal branches of dead trees, the icy wind tearing at them as they fell. Winter’s head was pressed firmly against his chest by his hand. She couldn't see the world rushing past, only the frantic, thunderous rhythm of his heart drumming against her ear. Snow had fallen a few days earlier. In the valley below, thick layers still remained where the sun never reached. Chris wrapped his arms around her as they crashed into the snow. * Several loose rocks crashed into the snowbank below. Winter’s mind went blank for a moment. When she finally came to, she struggled to pry his arm away from her waist.

Though to Winter, it was unbearably irritating. "Fine, I'll go greet the other guests, then. Thank you for the gift, Noelle. I have something special to give you in return later, so don't be in a hurry to leave!" Winter spoke through gritted teeth. She was barely able to restrain herself from tearing the smile off Noelle's face. Winter stormed off and headed to the restroom. That was where she violently threw the Heart of the Ocean, still in its box, onto the floor.

"Listen Winter, long ago we owned the spirits beasts but greediness made them kill our kind and forcefully took away our spirit beasts, I survived because I went into hiding. I always have been and I always will be." ​She took a step backward, creating space between us. ​"Do you want to see who he really loves?" Winter asked, her voice dropping to a sinister whisper. "Watch this." ​Before I could even comprehend what she was planning, Winter reached up and viciously tangled her fingers into her hair, yanking it until it was a wild mess. She pinched her own cheeks until they flushed red. ​Then, she threw herself backward. ​"Aaaaaaa! Help! Please!"

Not that I expect him to but at the same time I do expect him to. It was bothering me that I was bothered by this. - I opened the door to the "window room" and like I expected, Dallas was standing there staring out the window. I quietly closed the door behind me and started walking towards Dallas, looking between his toned torso - that was defined through his tight, white v-neck - and the falling snowflakes.

Now that I know that atleast one person is reading this I will upload! On another note Frozen Heart is part of the series Heart and all the stories will be connected between them. Do you need another story to undertand and to enjoy FH? No! FH is a stand alone but characters from the first story of the series - Wolf Heart - will apeart in FH and other things from WH that probably won't make sense. I will start uploading WH as soon as posible. It takes place on Aylarra, on a different continent, around 20 years earlier than the events from FH. I am sure everyone will love Mina and Jayden's story! The series will have more books but I am currently working on WH and FH! Rho and Ayla will appear

"That illegitimate child of yours isn't worthy of this blood." She ground her heel into the red puddle, speaking with venom in every word. "I'd rather pour it out to water the flowers than give it to you." At that moment, Danielle felt her heart shatter, and even breathing became painful. The VIP room door slammed shut with a heavy thud, sealing Meghan and Taylor away from the chaos outside. Danielle stumbled back to Olivia's hospital room and cradled her cold body, tears falling onto her pale face. As despair slowly overwhelmed her, her phone screen lit up.

But I never expected that the moment I stepped out onto the balcony, Archie would lock the door behind me. Hearing the sound, I rushed back to the glass door and tried to get back inside. The northern winter was bitterly cold. Snowflakes fluttered through the air. There was no heating on the balcony, and since I was inside just moments ago, I was only wearing a thin set of loungewear. Her breath frosted the glass, which was icy to the touch. "It's snowing. Snowing!" "Exactly. I don't think we're in Charleston anymore, do you?" "What? Where?" She whirled around too fast and tripped over her petticoats. Petticoats? What the hell was going on here?

"Morning, Ron. Where's Scarlett?" I let out a cold laugh. "She's upstairs. Go find her yourself." Just then, Scarlett came down in high heels. She had changed into a new pair of black stockings and put on smoky eye makeup that gave her an icy, seductive look. Desire flashed in Chase's eyes as he immediately got out of the car to greet her. "Scarlett, you look absolutely stunning today. Even these flowers pale in comparison to you. "I ordered these first thing this morning. Happy Valentine's Day."
