A cool and familiar female voice came from behind us. At some point, my sister had walked over. She wore a sharp professional skirt suit, her presence fully unleashed. She came to my side and gave me a reproachful look. "Why aren't you going in? What are you doing out here in the wind? Aren't you cold?" Lydia's eyes locked onto my sister, then flicked back to me. She screeched. "Connor! You! You actually betrayed me! You sold your body for orders!"

Rushing outside, we jumped over the bridge's wall and ran along the falling castle wall to the clearing where we trained earlier. He was as big as a Boeing 777; his feathers were white to his chest, light blue to his back, and with crystal snowflakes on the tips of the ones on his tail. A crown of ice spikes in a darker blue circled his head, forming a crown. Naomi climbed up to his back using his extended wing. "Hurry." She urges me, her hand extending to help me climb. "I can't." I look back at Omar as he breaks through the stone wall, marching at us.
