"What? Why?" She smiled and pointed to the sky. "There are lots of stars in the sky tonight. It will grant your wishes" I smiled, patting her head as I turned to look at the sky. "Why don't you make a wish, dear?" I looked at her to see her eyes gleaming in excitement. "I should?" I nodded and watched as she sat up eagerly, closed her eyes, and clasped her hands together.

I turn around and lean back on him as we gaze upon the sky, and I point at the brightest star in the sky tonight. “There! That’s the first star I saw and I thought I’d make a wish…not for me but for all the lycans and werewolves out there. So we might…you know, finally have the next heir.” He laughs. “Damn it, woman, what the hell are you wishing on a star for, then? Were you planning on conceiving the next heir through an immaculate conception?” I blush. “No, silly, of course not, but—”
