Its hilt glows beneath the moonlight. “Blood calls to blood,” she whispers. We each cut our palms and press them together. Magic cracks like lightning through the air. She had given her word to the previous King and Queen and it was a rule among the witches to always live up to their promise. She moves away from the broken bricks and walks towards the witch, the Titus, in wolf form. “But now I’m done playing your game.” With a snap of her finger, both Titus and the witch float in the air. She clenches her fist. They both scream loud in pain. Titus changes back to his human form as the blood accumulates in pockets all over their bodies.

Ever since the situation with Dagon last time, as the Alpha King and Luna Queen, Ari and Max felt it was time for the werewolves to join forces in case something similar happened in the future.
