MATE TO THE ALPHA PREDATOR

MATE TO THE ALPHA PREDATOR

"Ismena. My name is Ismena." "Ismena." He tasted the name on his lips. The wolf definitely approved, chirping inside him. "Meaning 'Queen' in the ancient tongue." "Really?" Blink, blink, "Didn't know that." Gags. Time to stand before this female throws up on him. Holding that thought, he tried to rise, but she went arms and legs on him, wrapping those tightly around him, her grip surprisingly strong for a female. "Oooh, now where does he think he's goooooing?"

As this author’s first book, there are aspects that are dark but apart from that I greatly enjoy both books. Great writing. Hard to put down! Highly recommended reading. Thank you for another book that sucks you right in.

This is the third book I’ve read in your collection, & I love every bit of it! Such a great read & unique story in the werewolf genre! Love the changeling concept, & I enjoy the female character’s brave sass. The subtle plot twists are also so satisfying. Definitely one of my favorite authors here!

The Alpha’s Shadow Luna

The Alpha’s Shadow Luna

“Everyone does. The Raven Witch, hunting the royal bloodline, trying to steal the Lycan King’s power for herself. That’s the story, isn’t it? The version that’s been passed down for generations. The convenient lie that nobody bothered to question.” “You’re telling me it’s not true?” “I’m telling you it’s not mine.” Her violet eyes burned. “Do you know why they call me the Raven Witch?” I said nothing. “It’s not a name I chose. It was given to me. By Korvax. Korvax was named because of the dark color of his wolf. It reminded the goddess of a raven’s feathers. A raven … Corvus Corax … Korvax. So he named me ‘The Raven’s Witch’.”

Alpha Ridge

Alpha Ridge

I knew she wouldn’t reject me, but I still had no clue what was going on in her pretty little head. Renata. I wasn’t terribly familiar with the name so I looked it up online. It said it had Italian origins and it meant “reborn.” Well the Goddess was clearly playing at something matching me with a wolf, a wolf who has just joined a new pack and left behind all she’s ever known. A wolf who is just shifting for the first time and officially becoming a she-wolf. Maybe we were both meant to be reborn. If she could change her life and path for a better one, I decided I would too. Who was I kidding, for a fated mate I’d fucking eat dirt. I’d do anything she wanted.

Story kept me interested and wanting to read more! The blood oath, made with children? The spell bond, what next? Read to find out what happens? Is there a second book? The end cliffhanger…Ryan and Nate find their mate?

Alpha's Married Human Mate

Alpha's Married Human Mate

The woman gives me encouragement and I find myself reaching out on my own to stroke the beautiful wolf. “Her name is Leigh.” The woman tells me, pointing down at the white wolf. “It means healer in Celtic.” Her hands begin to move lovingly down the wolf’s back, earning a yip of happiness from her. “She has been my most trusted companion for a long time.” Her galaxy eyes move up to meet mine. “But she has agreed to return to the human world and watch over you one more time.”

Second Chance Luna

Second Chance Luna

Growing up, my parents always talked about how my name meant peaceful ruler, but I thought they just chose it because they liked the name. “Yes, Rieka is a very old German name. It does mean ‘Peaceful ruler, but it also means ‘power of the wolf’ or ‘wolf queen.’ So, you see, you were born to rule this pack with my son. I might not be able to tell you about the future yet, but we can also learn about ourselves and gain wisdom from the past.” I sat there in stunned silence. Could it be true? Was I actually BORN for this role as Aleksandr's mate and Luna of the pack? How can a human be Luna of a wolf pack?

This story is a fun and refreshing take on the werewolf genre. The writing and the character development are on point! Anja is a very talented writer and I can’t wait to devour whatever she writes next.

As the author states, the beginning is slow (nothing wrong with that!), but things build. I found the book to be an enjoyable and fairly quick read. It flows nicely into the second book without leaving you hanging. ... ... ... ...

The Shifter King

The Shifter King

She reads, "'This image of a wolf with the lips raised around the teeth usually means speaking up about what you dislike. This image has been associated with civil wars, rebellions, or uprisings against usurpers.'" She looks at me. "This could mean something, right? Then I looked into the moons. So," she flips a few more pages. "Shifters are decently spiritual. They worship the Moon Goddess, whose name can vary in lore, but mostly it's about a connection to nature and the phases of the moon. Placing the phases around the wolf can mean several things, but mostly, it's a 'backing by the goddess'. So, a righteous cause." Ah. Religious fanatics. My favorite.
