I could feel her anxiety as she met my hard gaze with her wide eyes. Nobody knows my wolf's name except for me. They call him Invictus, Death Claws but that's not his real name. Only I know what is he called. Usually, alphas don't reveal their wolves' names as revealing them can make us susceptible to evil magics. The seasoned witches only need a name to cast a spell on. It's not a law but a necessary precaution.

AGATHA My name is Agatha—without a surname. Some people call me Agatha the Witch of the West, others call me Agatha the Witch, just like that. My friends— not that I have a lot, call me Gathy. Emily blurted out, still staring at the space where the witches had been. The chief witch grinned and gestured for Emily to follow her. Both of them walked out of the large hall to the room where the chief witch received Andrew earlier. "What's your name girl?" The Chief witch asked as Emily took her seat. "Emily, Dr. Emily Winx." The chief witch smirked, "Call me Amelia."

Still, she exhaled, not wanting to overthink things. It was surprising how she knew a lot. This reminded her of Mrs. Lowell too. It seemed like so many people knew so many things except her. Clearing her throat, "can I ask how you know so much?" Alpha Raven hesitated to speak. She cast her gaze at Jack. Getting a reassuring nod from Jack, she retraced her stare and focused it on Lana. "Because, the three witches and the Moon Goddess are my sisters. We are known as the daughters of Ra," she let out.

“I’m sure that you would tell us anyway, so why don’t you get on with it?” She sneered back at me. “It means that I know every dirty little secret you all have been doing against each other to rise in ranks. For instance, your little sister, Isobel did not die by being mauled by wolves, it was the queen mother of your coven that orchestrated her death and the death of six other witches her age to rise to the rank of being the leader of your coven. The witches who were sacrificed for your so-called queen mother, their names are Sabrina, Dhalia, Maya, Freya, Gretta, and Genna”

she said and then led me inside the room by my hand. "Meet the rest of the Rebel Witches. This is Lamech, he is our default leader, this is Kellen, this is Heremuah, this is Claudette, Jennifer, this is Medidiah, you have already met Tate and I, Poppiniah but they call me Poppy. We are so thrilled to finally meet you,” she introduced and I went to shake their hands as I repeated their names. I wanted them to realize that I was happy to finally meet them and that they mattered and the first step was to learn their names.

Cillian introduces me with pride. “The Alpha King’s daughter. Finally.” Judging by the way she is staring at my belly area, I’m guessing this is the wolf-witch that Cillian mind-linked for the protection spell. I smile at her when our eyes meet, nodding my head when I sensed that she wants to know if I’m truly pregnant. “Kayleigh, this is the infamous sisterhood of wolf-witches. Meet Nancy, Shelby, Sandra, Sharry, Kathleen, Trisha, Cerys, Kim, and Trixie.” Cillian points to the group of ladies.

Kirei’s brow creased as she tried to absorb this information. “No, not really, it was just when I looked up their names they were women who were quite known. There was the Dark Witch who came from the Westershire coven, The Enchantress of the elven forest, there was also the Holy Maiden, and The Sorceress of the twin tower of Gulas to name a few.” Those were the names that she could not forget as they were all well-known magic users even in the east. “But those names were quite renowned, my lady,” Kirei was now breathing harder than normal.
