The warrior on the left fastened rune cuffs to the wizard’s wrists; a small speck of white light pierced the darkness, then faded. “Hold him!” Tavien commanded. The wizard spat, his eyes sharpening toward me. “Little Luna, too bold,” he hissed. “Do you think fire can consume fire?” “The fire I speak of is not yours,” I replied flatly. “And you were not invited.” He chuckled—short, dismissive. “You will still come to my candles.” Tavien didn’t give him a chance for a second sentence. One clean, measured blow. The wizard’s jaw snapped; his body swayed then collapsed, unconscious. Silence fell, quickly.

He stared at the beautiful girl in front of him, but Vasilia had lost her sheen to him. She tried to step in but Warren blocked her, “I was about to grab some sleep. I am going to join the crew of the Scald Crow. If I can help people, I want to.” A lovely shade of green muddied the golden eyes of Vasilia, “You’d have to anchor yourself to that greasy goblin Theria. Please tell me this is not about her?” “My mother was killed by crazy dwarf creatures at a rest stop the night magic returned. If I can help make the world a better place then maybe her death will mean something,” Warren came harsher than he wanted to.

Well, I guess in a real battle, the enemy would never wait for the time to start, they would attack whenever they can. “The time limit is thirty minutes. Killing is prohibited…”, thirty minutes? Isn’t that too short? “Timer starts… NOW!” as I expected, the magic that the other mages prepared even before the time starts started to explode, everyone was avoiding it. A few seconds after, the ground started to turn into lava. I tried finding Aiden, he’s the only fire mage in here, this is surely his spell. I couldn’t find him but I saw a few mages who got stuck in the lava. They probably can’t fly, if I remember correctly one of them is a sound mage.

I said, dashing forward to the wardrobe and picking up a book. I flipped through the cover of the book, searching for any instructions or insight about Wyverns, but I found nothing. "I have a suggestion." He said and I turned to look at him. "How about just fighting them off with a strong defense. The Wizard also said the Wyverns fear a magic Hex." Alaric had a point. I closed my book and we both got out of the room, rushing through the hallway till we arrived outside the premises. So many houses were burning and more people being killed as the Wyverns kept on releasing ball of hot fire.

How can we put an end to this if we don’t stay away from each other? We were not in any kind of relationship, but when I write my diary entry that night, it feels like I’ve been jilted. I strike through the whole entry, determined not to let him mar my sexy fantasies. Just because I stopped acting on these fantasies doesn’t mean I can’t write them. This time, I’m writing from experience. My only direction was forward, towards the lair of the demon wizard, Vornt. As I reached the doors of Vornt's sanctuary, my breath came in ragged gasps. I pushed open the heavy wooden doors, revealing a dimly lit chamber filled with the scent of ancient texts and incense. Vornt, a figure draped in shadow, awaited me at the center, his eyes burning like smoldering coals.

I gritted, fighting the urge to do just that right now, he scoffed, "I am a wizard, you cannot harm me and Ariana is lost to you forever" A cry wrenched out from inside of me, "no" I can lose everything but I cannot lose Ariana, I grabbed him by his throat, "watch what you say" he closed his eyes as if to cast a spell or something, and I acted, I brought out my fangs and bit his shoulder, he screamed in pain, "I am an alpha werewolf and a wizard cannot withstand the fangs of an alpha" I was bloodthirsty, my eyes on fire and my claws out, I raised it to dealt him a fatal strike,

I screamed, twisting in its grip, but before I could do anything, Bryan appeared beside me, his hand pressed against its face. “Return to the dark,” he hissed. The wraith burst into flames and vanished with a shriek. The final one tried to run, but he didn’t let it. With a flick of his fingers, the roots beneath it split and swallowed the creature whole. I never knew a person could be that strong. But this power... Can a wizard hold such a strong power? Silence returned, broken only by my ragged breathing. All I could do was watch him defeat them within seconds.

She might not understand what they were up against. "Matt, I am not running anymore. We stay here and fight. No more running" she stated firmly. Matt found her funny. She wanted to fight. A fight where she would had no chance. "These are not werewolves. They are wizards. Wizards, they conjure magic, control demons, do incredible things" Matt believed she was supposed to know that without him telling her. "We have a wizard on our side" she argued further. That was the worst she had said since they started this argument.

"You are abnormal." The wizard screamed in shock. "What's your definition of normal?" Giselle asked inching towards the wizard who walked backwards. "You are a coward. You fear what you don't know." Giselle hissed as she lunged towards the wizard in full speed. The wizard snapped out, regaining his composure and stood ready to face the wolf. He opened his palm and a purple smoke ball hovered above it and with the snap of his finger, numerous purple balls of smoke disintegrated from the one smoke ball and were shot in high speed towards Giselle which she dodged gracefully.
