Isla's POV The warlock's snarling voice echoed through the chamber, taunting and defiant. Deep inside the recesses of my mind, Cleo, my loyal wolf companion, growled in response. Her voice surged forward, urging me to act decisively. "Isla, we have to destroy him," she demanded. I could feel the power of her instinct pulsating through me, urging me not to back down. The darkness that emanated from the warlock's words only fueled my resolve. I couldn't let him win, couldn't let him escape the justice he so desperately deserved.

As soon as two wolves made their appearance, I sprinted down, noting instantly who they were as their scents permeated the air. They stopped in their tracks at the sight of me. Yes! The plan was working! Jasmine sprinted down the hill, coming in with her sneak attack, pouncing and digging her claws into Alpha Vic's back. He was like a wild bronco as he tried to throw her off, but Jasmine was so fucking good, and kept a good hold on him, not allowing him to knock her off. Even pregnant, she was a badass.

I ask her next, maybe that got something to do with me dying. "White wolves don't exist," Moira dismiss me again. "The alpha said they do," I answer her, he said one of us is white, and since the other two remember their wolves and dream of them, they knew for sure they aren't the white one. "Maybe they do but they are extremely rare," Moira says, they are rare cause they die, I know that, I'm pretty sure of that now. "Hey, Moira, little guy," alpha Rowan says joining us in the room, he shared a look with my sister and then a silent conversation went between them two, it's the way their eyes shifted and moved as they glared at each other.

“Just let go, and I’ll be right there with you.” She calmed slightly as he held her. The first time was always the worst and she was so much older than she should have been for a first timer. He felt his own wolf clawing its way to the front of his mind rushing to be freed. He could feel her letting go, letting the beast with in her move forward. I won't give her any satisfaction. “You know…,” Natasha sneered, "we only train because to show us with the Ashwing Owls. They are the one who decides who is strong enough to be Luna and who is just pretending to be strong but is weakling," I clench and unclench my fists at her words, trying not to show any reaction to her words. It's also true that Ashwing Owls are one of the strongest creatures in the supernatural realm. Their feathers shimmer with ember, allowing them to blend into the sky.

I placed my head on my knees again and just sulked for what seemed like hours. Then came the came a scream A howl so loud, it didn’t just touch your ear it rattled your bones. Every wolf paused. Even the enemy. Then it dropped from the sky. The Howling Horror creature.

" I swear on the moon. I'll keep her safe." Liora touched Hazel's forehead one last time. Her wrist turned, and Hazel saw it.. a mark. A wolf, jaws open, surrounded by flames. A small crown resting on its head. It glowed faintly, then dimmed. "I love you," Liora whispered. "I'm sorry." She kissed Hazel's head and ran. Back toward the west. Back toward the screams. Hazel followed. Liora returned to the ambush site. Most of her guards were dead. She sent the last two away.
