They moved towards the beast. The wolf froze for a second, and its red-black eyes narrowed as it sensed the magic creeping closer. It released a low growl from its chest, and I swallowed. Hunter stiffened. “Hazel, don't—” “Shut the fuck up,” she snapped, sharply. “I’ve got this.”
