Some pack mates lay injured on the frost covered earth. My wolf stirred restlessly under my skin. I clenched my fists,torn between fear and an unfamiliar fiery determination. I couldn't stand back and watch my pack fall apart. No matter how much they despised me. I moved forward but immediately froze in place. From the shadows of the forest,the black wolf appeared ,his massive form radiating power and menace. His crimson eyes locked onto mine,pinning me in place. “Lea,”he growled, his voice echoing in my mind. “I’ve waited long enough”.

My wolf barked and nudged the dead deer, glancing down at them as if to say they could eat what she did not finish. The two wolves crept forward slowly. Every now and then, Alexa’s wolf looked up at my wolf, biting the air in a playful gesture, gauging if we were mad at them for intruding on our meal. We did not stop them. They were welcome to join. As the other members of the pack emerged from the woods, still in their wolf forms, I spotted General Axe. He was now in human form and completely naked, his muscles defined and impressive. He was about the same age as Conor and similar in size, though not as tall.

"That's right, you're a human. How can you understand?" Venn immediately interjected Lily and her master's story: "Does master's power come from nature, plants?" Elias nodded to Venn, appreciating his understanding. Venn is just a werewolf hybrid, so their only strength is ten times stronger than normal humans, and agile movement only. Lily asked again: "So which wolf is the strongest among you?" Venn immediately replied: "It is a wolf that can control and absorb all things. In particular, only this wolf can control the air."

Without thinking, he lunged forward, grabbing a fistful of the gray wolf's fur. That strange power surged through him again, stronger this time. The wolf yelped, its body rigid for a split second. Juke seized his opportunity. With a powerful kick, he sent the gray wolf tumbling into the darkness below. A distant thud echoed from the depths, followed by an eerie silence. Juke returned to Dale’s side, blood streaking his face, his breathing heavy but steady.
