Dannie picked up another joint from her room and went to the library. Among the ancient books was one of the largest collections of werewolf history in the world. If there was anything on Balric or the black book it was there. She gathered a variety of titles that looked promising and lit the joint. Taking a hit, Dannie opened the first book. Inside was mostly what she already knew.

I saw wolves clashing and fighting in a vicious battle; blood filled most ppartsof the earth. I had seen Xavier and Alpha Baron in the fray, their skin was as red as crimson, their roars shaking the ground. And in the chaos, I had felt something pulling me, something familiar and terrifying at the same time. I needed answers. I reached for a thick-volume book; dust covered it like it hadn't been touched in a decade. It was on the top shelf, and the golden letters on it could hardly be seen. It read, **The History of the Lost Alphas**

He felt immense power flowing inside of it, and he instantly sensed something terribly wrong about the book. It gave off the aura of darkness and malice, and despite the fact that he had already obtained it, the book caused his wolf to awaken and roar loudly. The werewolf king couldn’t help but to retreat from it instinctively, terrified of what the books would do to him. However, despite his panic, his fear did not last long, for a moment later, the book started glowing, turning itself into the purest form of light that he had ever seen.

She began to fade with the darkness until no trace of her was seen. Lucia jerked away to earth, panting heavily like she had just run a marathon. How strange? She took it immediately, having found her next read, she skipped out of the library and back to her room. She sat curled up in bed by the window, lunch was served by a servant as promised, she ate and stuck to get book. This book, titled, 'The Wolf Within' she had never really read anything like it. It seemed more like a fictional write up, than a history book. It talked about a wolf that was embedded into the souls of 'special people'

The list was either empty, or small, or became too long and therefore absurdly indirect. Kohan made several accents, one of which stood out in particular: Knave. A disgusting wolf who raped me once and intended to rape me a second time, enlisting the support of his friend Nasty and a young she-wolf, whom Boris loved to wring out so much, whose name I did not remember, but who could know what Boris did to me before took him home. Knave and Nanosavy were killed in my presence, but no one knew what became of the she-wolf. We both had already shifted in our wolf form so we were good to go for the attack. But before I tore apart his body, he woke up and attacked back with his bare hand. He too transformed into his vampire form and tried to stab with his sharp nails whereas Lilith Vincent was busy fighting with my brother. “If you don’t speak, we don’t welcome you here. You must leave or we’ll be forced to fight you.” They heard a whimper, puzzling them. Alex could swear he saw the main wolf rolling his eyes. This particular wolf stood and slowly approached him. His men didn’t need instructions. They stepped up and blocked his approach. The wolf seemed to tilt its head before sitting again, his gaze remained on him. Alex is starting to feel nervous. He finds it a little creepy and took a step back. “Hello.” A soft female voice suddenly sounded in his head.

A book came out along with his hand, both fully intact. “The Courage to Trust,” by Dr. Franklin Reed. He had to be joking. There were hidden cameras here somewhere, I just knew it. No fucking way was the god of wolves cracking open a self-help book from the mortal realm. Sure enough, he fanned through the book eagerly, skipping over several chapters in the process. The tip of his tongue appeared from between his plump lips. He found the page he’d been looking for and quickly skimmed it. With a satisfied hum, he chucked the book behind his shoulder where it was swallowed up by that strange, shimmering magic.

But instead of old stories from my grandmother’s life, the pages were scrawled with strange symbols and sketches—shorthand in her handwriting explaining the purpose of different runes and sigils. Flipping through the pages, there were sketches of wolves, and the last page that she’d written in had a detailed rendition of a nightmarish wolf-beast that made my blood run cold at the sight of it, it’s eyes smudged over with charcoal in the shape of a protective rune. My heart raced when I realized what I was holding. This was no ordinary journal, it was a spell book.
