It’s the exact same thing. I leaned back in my chair and whispered to myself, "This is exactly what the book said."

“And you stole his favorite bedtime book. So what did you learn from the human-concocted ‘werewolf legend’?” She flipped through the book, scanning several pages, and then gave a ladylike snort. “A human wrote it.” Caleb raised a brow. “What did it say?” “Why should you care? You already said humans don't have a clue.” “You’re right. So what did it say?” She cast him an annoyed look. “A Scandinavian white wolf was the first lupus garou.” Caleb laughed out loud. Diana threw the book into the backseat. “I told you it was a bunch of nonsense.” She glanced back at the vehicle following them. “Can you lose the SUV?”

Lya The book I had found on my bed was interesting, to say the least. It had been wrapped in an old cloth, and the warmth under my skin when I skimmed my hand over the cover confirmed it was embossed with silver. Given it seemed to be a book about werewolves, and we had a sensitivity to silver, that was a peculiar choice. I wondered if it was filled with information they didn’t want just anyone reading. I hadn’t gotten much into the book - just the introduction of the Wulver Pack, its location, and when it came into existence - when there was a knock on the door. I went over to open it, not at all surprised that Oliver was on the other side.

I flipped through the pages of the book, the meaning turned out to be a latin inspired word, meaning ‘Dark wolf.’ Dark wolf? I skimmed through. There's something written about red-eyed wolves and how dangerous they can be when they transform. It's the same thing Jacob talked about. He was right. Claudia is dangerous.

And what a thrill it was to feel freedom to the fullest. But this stupid creature was not going to turn off when he saw me on his way. I won't turn back either! My beast was driven by adrenaline from the anticipation of the hunt, and my heart beat wildly against the ribs. Jumping on the creature, I dug my claws into it, tearing its flesh. The wildling howled heart-rendingly, trying to throw me off. Will not work! Just because you're bigger doesn't mean you're stronger! I bit into his neck, trying to reach his throat. And all this time my fire did not go out! As a result, the victory was for me, and not even ashes remained from the enemy. My she-wolf was satisfied with the fight and was eager

Mom, Dad she called out slowly to them moving close in their direction. By the time she found them they had already transformed into werewolves it's wasn't easy, controlling them as wolves, to make them go under the basement, she tried all she could but failed then she said to them, "I don't care how aggressive you are towards me, you know you can't hurt me because I am also a young wolf, just like you are a werewolf from one pack, I can control you, as been a young she-wolf, I will do anything to make sure you don't cause any harm to others."

Once she was a wolf Clara stood on all fours. The other wolf blocked her exit. He started snarling at her, lunging forward. She moved out of the way each time, but he was forcing her backwards. Realizing she would have to go through him, Clara hurled herself forward. She caught him off-guard, but not enough to knock him down. She felt his teeth sink into her back and she let out a yelp. He clamped down hard and shook his head back and forth grinding his teeth in the process.
