He looked like he was about to say something, but he was cut off when he started coughing violently. He spat out a mouthful of blackened blood. It made for a gruesome sight against the white carpet. Felix stared at the blood in disbelief before he jerked his head up to look at me. "Why?" I set my wine glass down and looked down at him from the tip of my nose. "I'm just fulfilling my responsibility as a mother." Felix's eyes widened when he finally registered my words. The wolfsbane worked quickly, especially since Felix had been caught completely off-guard. It didn't take long before he crumpled to the ground.

" I bit down so hard I tasted blood. Like a madwoman, I clawed and bit at the people holding me back–until I finally broke free and snatched back what was left of Jamie's body. The dogs had been eating happily. Having their food taken, they bared their teeth and lunged at me. Connor frowned and had them pulled away at once. His patience was gone. _Zarek’s POV_ Blood. Fucking silver blood. It soaked through my shirt and burned like hell, and still I was standing, barely. Zade helped me to the car while I clenched my teeth so hard I thought they’d crack. The warehouse reeked of blood, death, and betrayal. We had wiped out every damn wolf who turned on us. Every single one. Except for that motherfucker Veyric. He ran like the coward he’s always been. Next time I see him, I’ll bury my claws in his damn throat.

The old patriarch let out a deep, booming laugh that rattled the torches lining the stone pillars. "Hahaha! Girl, I have fought through three territory wars against the Ravenscroft Citadel! I have had my flesh ripped open by rogue Alphas and walked away smiling. Do what you must. If it lets me stand on my own two feet to crush our enemies, I will welcome the fire... AARGH! AAAARGH—" The old wolf's boast cut off into a blood-curdling roar of raw agony that shattered the silence of the hall.

My wolf pressed harder against my skin. Alert. Uneasy. Angry. “Open it.” The butler nodded immediately. His hand reached for the handle, but I noticed it trembling slightly before he forced it still. Click. The door creaked open slowly. The smell hit first. It slammed into me instantly. Blood. Thick. Heavy. Fresh enough to cling to the air like smoke. Human blood. Werewolf blood. Rotting flesh. The metallic scent coated the back of my throat immediately. Behind me, one of the guards gagged softly.

The blood is thick almost like sludge and smells like rotten meat when it's cooked. Rodin flings the blood on the teal grass which cleans the shine on his armor. Rodin stands and he starts to walk to the tent with the flag. Varick looks over the pile. On his side is a satchel, he reaches in this compartment to pull out a book. The book’s title: “Book of The Blight.” Carefully, he sets his wolf helm down on a clean spot among the forest. The plate head sparks with pink electricity, causing the headpiece to slightly hover along with the grassy blade tips. Va

Without a second thought, the hungry, evil, red-eyed werewolves were met with William’s bravery. On his face, there was no sign of dread. Anger and loathing may be seen in his golden eyes. He was planning his vengeance. He didn’t care if he died right now as long as he could let out the rage that was building up inside him.

I flung open the cell door and chanted a spell that would reveal a spell cast in here and show me a marker of the engery and magic used none showed. "The witch is of some ancient blood, something else is at play here. She did not pull any energy I can sense. Her magic is rooted in something different. She is going to be formidable. I should of killed her on arrival. " I spoke aloud to myself more than anyone else. I knelt down and taking out three vials I scooped up the blood left on the cell. "At least I have the green wolf and her brats blood." I snarled. As I past the werewolf I chanted a spell that caused the surrounding shadows to to form and reach out and strangle him. He fell dead at
