Alpha's Unwanted Bond

Alpha's Unwanted Bond

’ I tried to calm Smoke down. After several days of research, we discovered a risky but necessary solution to tame Smoke which is the use of Wolfsbane. Wolfsbane is dangerous to wolves, it is capable of weakening wolf’s sense and strength. Wolfbane is the only solution to keep Smoke subdued. Without wasting time, I began injecting small doses of wolfbane into my system. I sometimes I add it to my water and drink while Smoke became weak. Every dose of wolf’s bane in my system made him weaker and I have total control over my action.

Some Mate You Are...

Some Mate You Are...

I refused to. I may have been a captive, but I wasn’t yet a victim, and I wouldn’t let him see me falter while I had a say in the matter. So, despite the reality that my body was on full display, I didn’t flinch. I stood strong as a true luna should. “Wolfsbane,” he answered, plainly – calmly. “I injected it into your system.” “What?! Why would you do that?!” I snapped. Wolfsbane, also known as aconite, was no joke, and it was not something to be administered casually. There was an unwritten agreement amongst the wolf communities that you didn’t use it except in the most extreme circumstances. Many wolf packs had outlawed it alt

The Rise Of The Last White Wolf

The Rise Of The Last White Wolf

“Try keeping one or two alive. We need answers.” “Easier said than done,” my brother snapped back while fighting. “These idiots are suicidal.” A rogue launched toward one of our warriors only to get thrown sideways into a tree hard enough to crack the trunk. Nyx growled low. “Something smells wrong.” I slowed slightly. “What do you mean?” “Wolfsbane.” My eyes narrowed instantly. “Damn it.” Wolfsbane weakened wolves dramatically if inhaled or injected. Slowed healing. Suppressed strength. Too much exposure could stop a wolf from shifting entirely. Which meant this attack had planning behind it.

Sylvie Rose: Mea Potentia Ultra

Sylvie Rose: Mea Potentia Ultra

After listening a little further, we found out they are talking about wolfsbane bombs. Wolfsbane can be deadly to wolves. In tiny amounts, it can be a strong pain killer for us but larger amounts will suppress our wolves and cause a horrible burning throughout our bodies. The amounts in a wolfsbane grenade or bomb would cause an excruciating death and keep our wolves from warning anyone else. I really didn’t think they knew anything about werebears because I wasn’t hearing anything that would suggest they knew how to torture or kill us. I smiled as I listened to the feed, “They don’t know that the

I absolutely love this book as much as all the other's in the series. You can read alone, but reading the entire series makes it that much better. I am so excited for the next book. If I could rater higher than 5 stars I would!!! It would be great to have these as hard covers or paperbacks ...

I love reading this book. What it says is true. it can definitely be read as just a book on its own and you won't have any issues following the story line even tho it's a continuation of the series. Such a great book and I can't wait for the next one.

Wanted By The Alpha King

Wanted By The Alpha King

Manchalla replied, touching the darker blood with the tip of his finger and staring at it in the dim light from the window. Something worst than wolfsbane? Zane thought. What could be worst than wolfsbane? For centuries, the wolfsbane has been the Hunter's favorite weapon, and the jackals' greatest enemy. It weakens the wolves when used on them and can kill the weaker ones, especially when it's not swiftly treated. There has been no wolf - poison greater than the wolfsbane. So, what was Manchalla talking about? What else could be worst? "You need to make yourself mo

She continued on about facts and such while others ogled over them. "To finish off our tour, I give you, the wolves. Now what we have here are gray wolves. We actually have a pack here in our zoo. We have six females, three pups, and our Alpha. Now our Alpha name is Alastor. Which in Ancient Greek means "tormentor." We named him this because he doesn't like anyone. No one can get near him, feed him, or be in the habitat with him awake. He is put under tranquilizer. Does anyone know what that is?" She asked the group of kids in the front. Eliza and I looked down over the wall separating us from the wild wolves. Four of the females were in sight and we could even see the pups.

She Runs with Wolves

She Runs with Wolves

“Certain herbs are meant to have… powers, in a sense. Jane taught me that, and becoming a supernatural creature has made me more aware of them, too. Aconitum – wolf’s bane, to use the colloquial term for it – is meant to be painful for werewolves. I never put much stock in it, though. Most things about wolves are untrue, spread by the wolves themselves to lead others away from what really harms them.” Skye rolled his eyes, and I grinned at him, drawn up in his teasing joy. “Maybe that’s what you vampires think, yeah, but most of what I know about you guys is false, too.” Then he shrugged. “But wolf’s bane is the real deal. So let’s not play around with that in my company, please?” I nudged h

I am loving this beautifully written book! The author takes the time to craft the characters and the ways the natural world mirrors this inner world. I love that this is a very different kind of Alpha!

Mated To My Savage Alpha

Mated To My Savage Alpha

Wolfsbane. A toxic substance to werewolves. It burns the skin and, if ingested, rips apart your insides, because it is so toxic too much can kill your wolf, which is why we are unable to heal. It even seems to affect the grass as I watch it wither and die, the once green grass now yellow and brown. I just can’t believe he would use this on us. It inches away, practically licking at our ankles before it engulfs us. The girls sense it too, their focus shifting as the steam engulfs us. I feel the burn hit my skin like a thousand needles. I hear Gemma and Megan scream they try to fight before I hear bodies drop to the dirt. My heart races as sweat drips off of my

Entangled with the Alpha

Entangled with the Alpha

“Yea, but first, how did Maximo put you to sleep? Is that even possible?” “Maximo?” “The weird werewolf that saved us from the white wolf,” I quickly explained, “I’ll circle back to him. But how’s that possible? I thought werewolves are invincible.” Nessa laughed. “Nothing’s invincible, Lisa. Some things are just harder to harm or kill than others. For werewolves, wolfsbane is the most potent weapon.” “Wolfsbane? What’s that?” I asked “It’s a plant,” she replied, “nature’s way of keeping us in check. It’s more potent in plant form, but loses most of its power when it’s liquefied. Maximo must have slipped liquefied
