But the wolves did, of course, sniffing them out and killing them when done feasting on the girls. One wolf ate away at the hostess’s beautiful and carefully made-up face. Werewolves consider the eyes to be a delicacy. Another ripped open a girl’s gown, bearing her breasts, breaking her ribs, clawing out the heart and devouring it, still beating, as it squirted thick dark blood.

As the fight got more intense, the two werewolves shifted, so that where two men were fighting before, there was a very large grey wolf, Thomas, and a slightly smaller black wolf, Jonas. The wolves circled each other, the grey one’s eyes full of wisdom, experience, and anger. In the black wolf’s eyes were a knowing look … and triumph, which was weird because it was being beaten hands down. Several bones in its body had been broken and it was favoring its right front leg, whereas the other wolf was very much unhurt. Another roar rumbled the Earth but this time it was not what sucked the life out of me. The men in front of my eyes had turned into monsters. Unnatural and terrifying big wolves. Not wolves... these wolves stood up like humans. "Oh, my Lord! Make it a delusion." I mumbled as my wits left me. The monster-cum-Jordan eyes fell on me when I tried to make an attempt at life. He snatched me up by the waist in his claws. "God, let it be a dream! Please!" I took a breath in to shout my heart out as my last ditch effort before death when another scream breached the cruel forest.

The Solar Eclipse Pack was a small pack that consisted of about 500 wolves and 100 of them were warriors. they were located in the rural parts of Virginia, more specific closer to Marion, Virginia. The other two wolves emerged from behind the mansion, their fur a darker, more foreboding shade that seemed to blend seamlessly with the shadows. The three wolves padded towards Nicholas, their eyes fixed on their Alpha with a deep, unwavering loyalty. As they drew closer, they fell into step before him, their howls merging with his in a chorus of sorrow and defiance. Together, the four werewolves stood as one, their voices echoing through the night, a testament to their unbreakable bond and their shared commitment to their pack.

What is her gift? - We, by virtue of nature, cannot freely communicate with animals, they are afraid of us, - she began to explain, - and werewolves with such a gift not only approach any animals calmly, but also feel their life streams. For example, you can say that your head hurts, show where it hurts, and werewolves with such a gift feel it. They are excellent veterinarians and are highly valued at our fur farms. In our flock, sable, arctic fox, marten, ermine are bred. A very profitable business. I still don't get what's wrong? A wonderful gift, - but I thought to myself that I don’t have a gift at all.

Her sky-blue eyes drilled holes behind Hakan’s head, flashing the three muscular men a smirk whenever their eyes would wander over to where she was. “Then, I’ll be leaving Richard in charge while I go out to the city. Check the borders, I’ve been hearing talks about rogue wolves roaming around the forest from our hunters.” The man called Richard stepped up before bowing his head, as he received orders from his alpha. Rylan stiffened instantly. “Not possible.” Kade swore. “That can’t be—” Lyra’s heartbeat tripped. The wolf lowered its head… in a bow. “What is that?” she whispered. Rylan’s voice was barely human. “A sentinel.” Lyra’s breath caught. Sentinels were ancient wolves said to serve only one bloodline—one house. A house believed extinct.

The year following the tablets was the year everything that had been building finally found its form. The hybrid wolf identification work expanded across all five territories. Finn's Silvermoon network became the primary coordination point for finding and contacting the thirty-one wolves Obsidian had documented and the additional thirty-two that subsequent searching had identified.
