From what I realised, she said; 'My sleep was good, but I don't think I am ready for today.' I took a risk and replied to her words. 'Why?' 'It's going to be fussy.' Fussy? I was sure I got the last word wrong. So I wrote the word on paper and asked her if I got it wrong or not. "You got it wrong. I said busy. See. You've missed this part. Here." she repeated it and showed me the word fussy and busy and the difference between them. I memorised them in my mind and gave her a thumbs up.

"What's wrong with the both of you today?" "What's wrong is that you don't understand our feelings. But I don't blame you, after all you lack how to express emotions." I gasped immediately the words left my lips. I didn't mean to say that. No I didn't think it would sound that way. Now that I've said it, there is no way I can take it back. Words are as fragile as eggs. Once spoke, they can't be taken back. "I didn't mean to say that." I quickly tried to rectify my mistake but the man in front of me nodded.

She finally spoke, her voice sounding smaller than usual. " Oh." I blinked severally, releasing the breath I didn't know I was holding. " Well, we can always get you another one." I said and gave her a half smile. Why do I constantly use the word *we*? " O-kay." She said, doing that thing that she does with her lip, again. " Could you stop doing that?" I didn't know when the words flew out of my mouth but by the time I did, it was already too late.

“I will let you be.” He turned to leave. “Wait,” the word broke from my lips. He paused, and turned back to face me. “Look, I'm sorry.” I said, in a soft voice. “I have not been myself lately. I'm still trying to figure out a lot of things.” “I understand, because I've been there before.” he said with a brief smile. “I guess you came out here to clear your head a mind a bit.” “It wasn't my idea actually.” I said, shaking my head. “My aunt wouldn't let me stay at home all by myself. So, I figured that if coming down here would help me, then why not?”
