My Mate, My Bully
I could hear my own screams, but they sounded distant, like they were coming from someone else.
I try to grab onto anything, clawing at the ground, reaching out for something to anchor me, but the pain keeps jerking me back.
It’s like a constant wave, hitting me over and over, giving me no relief. My vision blurs, spots dancing in front of my eyes. I’m slipping, and there’s nothing I can do to stop it.
I can’t hear anything anymore. The chanting, the whispers, the gasps, they all fade away. All I can focus on is the pain, the burning agony that’s consuming me.
