Workaholic Characters Novels & Stories

With his head buried in stacks of papers, his damp shirt clung to his muscles like a second skin due to perspiration. “You really need to consider nailing up a bathroom next to your desk so it'll not seem like a chore to take a darn shower before you get lost in those papers.” I advised, with an underlying tone of tauntiness in my voice. Aside from being an exercise maniac, he was a workaholic when it came to ranch business, just like my dad. The fucking bastard had to clone himself before he disappeared from the surface of the earth. On seeing Cain's nonchalant demeanor, I continued,

I pointed at jeon who in turn looked at Mia with a guilt you only see on a man caught cheating. "Uh no... I was just taking a look at a few things, am all done now don't worry" Jeon stammered and closed his laptop. He got up from his seat and started packing his papers together so quickly. I laughed. "Well sweetheart there is one thing you should know about your boy here, he is a certified workaholic and he can't just function properly without checking on the progress of the company he runs."

Wanda glanced at Nisa’s face, who was listening to her story. "If you work with him, what I need to emphasize here is that you must be willing to work twenty-four hours. He has a lot of activities outside the office, traveling, meetings, and sometimes unexpected appointments. Once he becomes your boss, you cannot refuse," Wanda continued explaining her boss’s personality. "Twenty-four hours? No breaks? No personal space?" Nisa was quite shocked to hear her boss’s workaholic nature. "I think once you’re with him, you can negotiate directly. He’s not someone who lacks empathy for his employees!" Nisa appeared to be thinking.

It was time for lunch, and God knows all I could think about was getting out of the office and going to have lunch. The good thing was that I was going to have lunch with Antonio because the grown man would forget to eat as long as he’s cooped up in that office of his. Antonio is a huge workaholic that doesn’t like to admit it, but I’m very sure he’s aware because the only way he could remember to do any other thing while working, is if he puts an alarm or a reminder. That’s just top tier workaholism, but it wasn’t always like this because when I had met Antonio, he had looked like he had a lot of free time like he barely ever went to work or something, and then after a while, after I found

Aish really! I just want to go berserk. "I'm hungry. Can you prepare the food?" I immediately saw the ice man who was sitting quietly in his oversized chair. I see he has started to wrestle again with files. He is truly a perfectionist and puts work first. Could he be a workaholic too? I think so. Behold, as if one second were precious to that person. Instead of doing the things the ice man asked for, what I did was just stare at the place.

I asked, knowing who caused her agitation. She shook her head. “I don’t get it, he was fine after your meeting, barely left his office. So, I thought, why not say goodbye, tell him to have a good weekend? You know what he did? He looked at his watch, then scoffed at me, and said, not going the extra mile again, Ms. Biggle? I suppose it is exactly five pm.” I sucked in my cheeks. He really didn’t have a filter. “Why does he just assume we all are workaholics like him?” She continued, throwing her arms in the air dramatically. “Just because he doesn’t have a life outside of this place, doesn’t mean the rest of us don’t!”

Beth nodded and smiled, then continued to describe my husband-to-be. "Mr. Carlton Williams is a true workaholic. His job is his life's passion, and he's always on the clock. I've heard that he even has a desk in his bedroom so that he can work even when he's supposed to be sleeping. He's a very driven and focused man, with little time for anything else."

"Okay, got it. What are they like to work with?" Madison leaned in, a conspiratorial look on her face. "Well, Austin is... a character. He's charming and charismatic, but also a bit of a handful. He's always pushing boundaries and testing limits, which can be both exciting and exhausting." Sara raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "And what about Christopher?" Madison's expression turned serious. "Christopher is...intense. He's very focused and driven, and he expects a lot from the people who work for him. But he's also fair and loyal, and he'll do whatever it takes to protect and support his team."

Alex laughed at Keyra's comment. "But all the CEOs in our company are known for being perfectionists. Remember Mr. Kenzi? He's even stricter than Mr. Nicholas," Alex added. Indeed, it wasn't a secret that the top executives at Alpha Beta were perfectionists and workaholics. They devoted much of their lives to work and had no time for leisure, especially with women.

He's a workaholic to the point that he would starve himself. "Good morning, ma'am. What can I do for you?" The lady greeted me with a wide smile, so I returned it with a sweet smile. "I'm going to the CEO's office." Cole Aiden is so lucky with his employees; they're kind and approachable, but unfortunately, his employees are unlucky because their boss's personality is almost the opposite of theirs. I don't understand why he always shouts and makes sudden decisions.
