It's the ultimate freelance operator fantasy, mixed with a dash of self-destructive noir. You're never quite sure if he's the hero or just another predator cleaning up the territory.

That rootlessness is perfect for serialized storytelling and for exploring a world piece by piece through his jaded eyes.
